Homelink Triggering On Its Own

I’m sure Lucid knows about this I feel like they should temporary disable it, it could hurt somebody

I could’ve sworn they DID disable it for a period at some point over the past year. I think what they disabled was the automatic opening/closing based solely on geofencing because people’s Gravity (a couple, not a ton) had gotten hit by the garage door or something. It was auto triggering so Lucid disabled that and made it so you HAD to use the screen or shortcut…

To those who have experienced this, are you triggering homelink via the custom button on the steering wheel or the menu on the screen?

on screen button for me. It appears as an onscreen drop-down as I approach my garage, so it's kind of easy to tap on it

My 2020 Tesla Model X would open and close my garage door automatically for me: (open it when I arrive home, and close it after I pulled out of the garge). It also would collapse the side mirrors as I pulled into my garage.

I am surprised that a Lucid doesn't do these things. I guess I was expecting too much or simply got used to these functionalities.

I'd like to see Lucid do this in the future. (consider this a feature request)

Yes, this and a bunch of other Homelink UI/UX issues, I've posted in multiple threads over the past months.
I don't think Lucid gives two hoots about it, too busy promoting new stuff and firing/hiring new executives.
A full year of ownership and many software updates later, there are still days when I want to drive it off the cliff and collect insurance.
Never hated a car so much in my life, while also enjoying driving it.
