Guess the name of this project or the name of the future car...

New for 2026…Behold the Lucid Ether!

(As in, Ether you have enough range to get there, or you’ll have to stop and charge. It’ll be a nice car Ether way.)

Lucid Astroid (inspired by a previous thread that discussed probability of asteroids hitting earth among other things).

Lucid Astroid: An unstoppable force—crushing limits, shattering Tesla’s grip, and redefining the road ahead.

Saturn? 😊

Bobby and a couple of others got the announced ones from the investors' day.

This is my first post here, so hi everyone.

I've given the ones yet to be announced a go.

Hopefully, I'm not breaking any rules by posting this, and I've not seen this posted anywhere else online, so here it goes.
This could be nothing, or it could be big, exclusive news breaking.

FUTURE PROJECT NAME = LUCID NEXUS

It's a yet-to-be-announced 2 seater sports coupe. - This isn't based on the Midsize platform, but a totally new platform, and I'm guessing it's based on their taxi/mobility concept, as on investors day, they only announced 3 new models on midsize, and this wasn't one of them. And the info below in (2) shows that it's a separate platform from Midsize.

Evidence of the car is as follows

This is a person who worked on Lucid Nexus as part of their Master's program. At the time, Lucid Nexus was a LUCID-sponsored project. In association with the Academy of Arts. which works with many design houses to get internships for their grads and future positions.
The link that they give is broken.

However, I managed to dig a little and found this very early mock design.

As far as I know, these designs are not official Lucid designs, and my guess is that they were all created by the Master's Student. Based on the info in (2) below , it appears LUCID is working actively on the Nexus project.

Okay - now let's put a little more meat on the bones.

2) = https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/lucidmotors/jobs/4684803007
The above recent job posting states, and I quote

"This role provides functional leadership for Software Integration Leads embedded with each vehicle program (e.g., Air, Gravity, Midsize, Nexus, and future platforms), with those leads reporting directly into this position."

Notice how NEXUS isn't in the same bucket as future platforms or any of the other announced platforms, meaning that not only is it not a future project, it's actually a current project, and due to the posting, it's also being actively staffed up..

So that's my guess and the evidence for it.

Of course, it could all be 2+2=5; however, the job posting lends it credibility.

Lucid Stone. Car will likely look like a small one. Maybe Stone would be the truck. I change my guess to Lucid Photon.

Lucid Light would probably lead to market confusion, but I guess all the names do.

Lucid Earth doesn't have the same ring. Remember we have Air and Gravity. Forces of nature as the theme. Fisker Ocean is already taken.

Lucid Plasma for the 2 seater that doesn't exist.
Lucid aquired the trademark "Ocean" when Fisker went bankrupt but I think they have only two years to come up with something to use it.

Yes, you have to use the mark within two years (and you have to defend the mark) or you lose the right to trademark the mark. This two years is going forward too. If one chooses to stop using a mark for two years then you could lose right then too.

This is interesting. A sports car would be exciting! Though I imagine that'll be released in 2030 or later 😞
