Gravity Orders Discussion

Just ordered Gravity as well. I am new to this thread, so I apologize if this has been asked. Will Gravity have Apple Carplay feature on day 1 ?

Looks like most of us ordered the aurora green. I ordered the 22/23 for my car because i live in california , is it going to be better to go with the middle or this should be fine when i go to Tahoe?

Usually I go all black but the green has looked too good in videos. Would love to have the summer tires and rims but I am going to take this everywhere so I need to know I'm not about to pop a tire.

I didn't like the green at first but it grew on me. I was going back and forth on the wheels because I got burnt in the Air GT choosing looks over practicality and ultimately met my match with one of the many potholes we see on CA roads. I've done it again and gone with the 22/23 combo but I may chicken out when it comes to finalizing the order and go to the 21/22

You're probably going to need all-season tires for Tahoe, and the 22/23's have summer rubber. Of course, tires are easy to change as long as you can find the correct weather category in the sizes you need.

I'm sort of on the same fence. Do I go with the 21/21's to get what look to be better aerodynamics, or do I go with the 22/23's to get summer rubber?

I was worried about ride quality on the largest wheels, but then I noticed that the aspect ratio of the 23" wheel was the same as on our Air Dream 21" wheels, and the ride is just fine there.

We saw the Aurora Green / Yosemite combo at the Miami Worldcenter. It's a very sharp-looking combo.

I liked the light-colored wood trim of the Yosemite the best of all the wood trims. The Yosemite upholstery is a very chalky white, so be sure you're okay with an interior that bright. The closest to it that I've seen in a car is the Tesla white interior.

The options are interesting, and I am surprised the fully loaded version with the most expensive options only comes out to ~126k. Impressive.

More information on the 5 seat arrangement would be great. Is there more cargo room as a result? What is the projected range loss from larger tires? Is there a towing hitch without the towing package? Can the heads-up display be turned off if we want the other features?

We aren't ordering anytime soon due to travels, but we definitely have the Gravity listed as our next vehicle to complement the GT-P.
There will be more cargo space, thanks to the third row being missing. You'll get the space where the row would sit, AND you'll have the space where the third row would be stowed, under the floor. Sort of like the lower area under the Air's trunk. Only much larger.

With the 7-seat option, you get one of those two spaces for cargo, depending on whether the seats or up or not. With the 5-seat, you get both at once.

Order in! Now is this also the official when will my Gravity go from "Ordered to In Production" thread. :)

Funny enough the Rivian Ascend edition (Tri Motor, Max Pack, Storm Blue, Slate Sky interior) I ordered this past summer had a VIN assigned this morning. Told Rivian , no thanks! Waiting on the Gravity!

Does anyone know when they will show leasing numbers? Currently shows a buy out right number.

The order page is down for me, configurator is not working, anyone else experiencing this?

So what's the charge (after the first 90 days) for the "premium connectivity" required for some features, and which features requires them?
Nobody knows, and nobody knows if or when they’ll start charging. Air was “free for a year” but that has not changed in 3 years. :)

At some point, it will.

The choice was easy for me; I’m keeping my Air DE on its 21s, and that’s my fun DD. This is the family car, which I want to be able to throw good summers on, but I can do that if I feel like it on the middle wheels. I don’t need Pirelli summer rubber on the family people hauler.

Looks like the website is struggling with an influx of people playing with the configurator. Can't proceed to submit an order in the last 40 minutes - tried a different browser, incognito mode, etc. 404 not found or just freezes. Damn!

Happened to me. I reloaded from a saved configuration instead and it has been fine since.

Well, Neurio, one question… will you be matte-ing this car? Please tell me you are! 🙂
I guess it depends on how the bronze actually looks. And whether I buy or lease. If I lease, I'm not going to bother with PPF. If buy, then I'll definitely put PPF on.
