I just got off the phone with Lucid Customer Service. I had a Gravity Touring ordered on day 1. Then took the Dream Edition deal in white. Then when wondering why it wasn’t being produced learned (through the forum) that the car needed to be black or green. So i changed color to green. Now the representative confirmed they don’t have enough of the tech packages (which i guess means HUD) so i won’t make the production run. Now they want me to switch back to the GT without the tech packages (they have VINS available - could get within two months……but i probably won’t get my 1k back if i change or cancel my order. What a load of Ship. If i cancel, and they don’t give me back the 1k since they now cannot deliver what they said they would deliver, my head will pop off. If not that, at least i will decide to never buy a LUCId NO MAtter what. The level of incompetence, lack of information, dishonesty are, to me, a death Nell for this company. I don’t see it surviving. Who else has been treated like Poo???
There is a bright side to being the last to receive a vehicle, less software bugs.
I ordered hour one day one and still waiting for my black/Tahoe on smallest wheels. My downfall? Didn’t choose DDPro and that put me close enough to back of the line even with tech package cancellation.
It might go to production in a month, it might not.
It’s like I want the car but not the bugs…so a bit of a competition. I want the $7500 lease discount but I know in 2026 there will come a time where it will be cheaper…decisions decisions.
