Gravity Delivery Discussion

I’m in the Bay Area. It’s Aurora Green with everything except technology package.

I can post photos and thoughts on the forum. I’m not on Facebook.
So does it have Power Package (outlets)? That was the issue when I switched my config to DD Pro. They had nothing with power package.

On a layover in Torrance, just walked by the Lucid store, they had 3 Aurora Green and 2 Black DE’s being prepped for delivery, sadly they didn’t have a vehicle I could play around with. Congrats to whoever is getting them, they look great. Black with stealth was a good choice.

Can’t wait for my black with stealth…but will have to rely on the wife to keep it clean and looking great.

Hoping one is mine. Supposed to be shipped yesterday.

Picking up my GDE now

For those of you who have driven around in your new Gravity, what are some initial comments/questions you get from people in public?

Lots of head turns, phones out taking pics and lots of questions when going into the lions den (aka Tesla Superchargers)

Question wise, it’s still “who makes that”. It’s the Tesla folk that tend to know the most about it and are really interested to see it. Had a chat for over 20 mins with a couple of Model X owners who have been waiting for it. They didn’t think it was real 😂

With Lucid Gravity out Model X is obsolete 😂

That’s what they said but….. the FSD question did come up. It’s the top question that seems to come from Tesla folk.

Yes, there are majority of new gen buyers looking for this irrespective of how much they use. People who love driving are reducing day by day ☹️

This is going to be the interesting topic when we take delivery; we're not trading in our X because the resale/trade-in value is awful right now, so we might as well keep it as a spare through the first winter. ADAS comparison will be our first long road trip. Our 5yo kid loves the X doors, though, and he'll be upset if we sell it. (He also thinks Cybertrucks are the coolest-looking things...) He'll have to get used to this one being for dads.

It’s a legitimate question, as FSD is one of the few advantages Tesla has left over everyone, given more vehicles can now charge on Tesla and Lucid chargers faster than Tesla on the same hardware.

How do you know it’s a majority?

I'm wondering if this owner's software experience is out of the norm or if it's the same for the rest of you.
Several folks have reported issues with the apps, like Spotify, but a reset seems to have fixed it.

Not unexpected if you’re an early adopter and they’ll fix over OTA. Other option is folks can wait 6-12 months for more stable software and not get the car now. Just reality.

With the amount of sales they have even with worst driving dynamics 😂 and 90% of times we only hear about FSD not anything else in internet forums and even from my friends.

Spotify seems to be a Spotify issue and not a Lucid issue
