Gravity Delivery Discussion

Must be an end of the quarter push.

They need to paint a pretty picture for wall street.

Maybe replace fart with whiff.

Word on the street is that July incentives will not be nearly as good as those in June for the Air.

My SA in Natick says they have 42 deliveries scheduled for today.
42, wow! Haven’t heard anyone in New Jersey getting delivery. Called King of Prussia studio and was told they are delivering first Gravity in PA today. NJ has a half sales tax incentive that ends today, people would save close to $4k if they get delivery before the end of June. Sad…

The Air was also a get rid of inventory move. They now have a couple of months to figure it out since the quarter is over.

My sense is that it is mostly Airs, with some Gravities sprinkled in. End of the month, end of the quarter.

That seems absurd, but would be great if true.

I was told low single digits in DMV area - that’s DC, MD and VA for those not in the area. I am referring only to Gravity.

I'm wondering if this owner's software experience is out of the norm or if it's the same for the rest of you.
The sky is falling, the sky is falling...... oh wait, this is just a person who has owned a car for 5 mins and became a keyboard warrior on Reddit.

DD Pro not working? False
Lane Change not working? False
Lucid Assistant not working? False (it's not great but its also not great on the Air)
Navigation wonky? wtf is "wonky"? I've used it and its gotten me from A to B numerous times

This is this persons first EV so maybe they should've gotten themselves a little more familiar with the vehicle vs running to Reddit. Maybe they would have been better off calling Lucid Customer Care for some advice 🤷‍♂️. I'm not saying the car is perfect but as stated numerous times, what EV is? Little quirks will be fixed over time but this is the second or third "initial" review that seems to be making some mountains out of mole hills. Some of what the Reddit Warrior posted could just be user error also. If people aren't prepared for issues to arise then just like every vehicle manufacturer on the planet, you don't buy the first year of a new model.

A person who spoke with their $$ is sharing their experience with full disclosure. It’s not a reason to go and take a sh1t on their head with your comment.

It might be a learning curve or a real issue, there is no need to take it personal.

It’s a data point, collect them all.

Your response will discourage people from sharing and will be a disservice to the rest of us.

I was about to say something but you beat me to it.

Perception is reality.

Totally agree with you. People should not be chastised for posting about their issues/bugs. If that continues, people will become very reluctant to post honest impressions of their new cars as they are delivered. Based on the well documented issues with the Air launch, I know many of us are anxious about how Gravity launch will go. Too often I have read people post problems on this forum only to be met with “I have no issues with my car” response, implying “you must be an idiot and not know how to properly use the car.” This new Gravity owner mentioned he would be having a virtual “walk through” on Monday, so hopefully some of these issues will be resolved with simple guidance from Lucid rep. But there is also the possibility that these are actual bugs with his car.
We need to encourage as many people as possible to post the GOOD and the BAD as the Gravity is rolled out. When issues are fixed, post that also.

Yeah right, we see time and time again the negative posts get way more traction in forums etc. than positive ones do. The problem with these posts is people take the issues as gospel and pile on when it's literally one experience. Saying Dream Drive isn't working is a hard response, saying Lane change isn't working is a hard response when it simply isn't true, so yes, they should be called out on it. It might be their experience but maybe actually contact the company that makes the car to see if something is wrong vs making statements that are simply false.

If your $1 million dollar home has a leaking roof do you take a picture and complain online about it or do you contact the builder who built the home or a contractor to repair it? 🤷‍♂️

And herein lies the problem. Maybe they simply should have had some patience and met with Lucid today to see how many of those issues are legit, user error or simply an education problem transitioning into an EV before jumping the gun and posting online as some of the issues could've been resolved today etc.
