Gravity Delivery Discussion

Ok yeah I’m sure they’ll give you a position adjustment option eventually, I think most HUDs offer that. And Halo secure is not active yet either, correct?
Did you look here? It was there in the test-drive gravities.
They removed this??

It had manual position adjustment or an "Automatic" setting where the driver-facing interior camera would detect your eye level and adjust the HUD location automatically for your head position.

Not in the delivered vehicles yet but at lest we can see it's in the pipeline and should come soon

Oh I thought Halo secure was more than that feature, that’s just the same as shock tilt alert. Although I guess the addition of detecting an “unauthorized occupant” is new, wonder how it does that? Wasn’t halo secure supposed to be like Tesla sentry mode? Just trying to learn what’s currently active in the car and what’s coming soon.
It will probably evolve. This is what's on Lucid's website and says it will "record incidents"

When did your build start?
I don’t think that’s relevant at this point as they’re ramping. So some folks have had a VIN and been in production for six weeks or more, I got a VIN a week ago and was told to expect delivery within 45 days of VIN assignment. That’s delivery and driving it home.

Point is, they’re speeding up production (hopefully) and batching likely impacts your timing more than anything right now.

Just trying to potentially Guage how long my build may take. Some have been in production two months or more. I've only been in production 3 weeks, so I'm wondering but know it's all changing up and hopefully speeding up. Like a few on here, I've got a trip out of the country and I'm hoping to have the car before that point for me in September. I like your time line of 45 days bc that would be absolutely perfect for me. We shall see then. For now, it's just absolutely great seeing them roll in and getting feedback!

Do you have a VIN? I expect you do if you’ve been in production that long.

Had a VIN since May 30 and car entered production on June 5( actual date from SA on when the build actually began). Just trying to guesstimate the back end of it all.
Mine was delivered about 4 to 5 weeks after entering production. Will also depend on where you are in the country. CA is a relatively quick truck drive from the factory compared to getting it over to the east coast for example.

I've had a VIN since the end of April. Ordered day 1 for GT and changed day 1 for Dream. Also had one of the first AGT's delivered. Asked about my delivery since it didn't seem to be getting anywhere. My SA went up the chain and actually got my VIN changed to a built car that I was to receive before the end of the month. Now they are saying I can pick it up and get a Due Bill to make necessary fixes or I can wait until probably the second week of July for them to give me a "perfect" car. Sounds like it took a beating on the truck from AZ to Orange County. I asked when I could have it should I choose to take it and bring it back. I've been waiting all day for an answer to that question. Seems like I'm not going to be any better off in the long run. I don't know what they need to do to it for a 2 week PDI. I should have just kept my mouth shut and left well enough alone.

On 2 May, I received a VIN and my status simultaneously flipped to 'In Production'. Friday 27th June will mark eight weeks since I've been 'In Production,' and I'm also in California, so I guess that sort of tracks with your own experience; at least I'm hoping so 🙃 I'm also not a current Lucid owner, so maybe that has something to do with the longer wait time.

Oh, and we tested supercharging. Worked flawlessly, and instantly. Plugged in, charged, moved on. Couldn't test speed cuz we were at like 92% lol, but I can't imagine it would have been slow. DDP2 worked great; automatic lane biasing was neat. HUD works; it's not perfect yet, and in the sun there is some glare, but it's still early days for the HUD. It does work, though - just takes a little getting used to because it's huge.
I got almost 200kW last night

My SA hasn't been very prompt with updates - after a lot of pushing, he told me that my build had failed the PDI, there was something wrong with the taillight apparently (obv he does not have details to share). Kind of gutted as this pushed out delivery, but happy that they're doing the due diligence. At the same time, I'm a bit unsure of whether this could be a symptom of anything bigger? Has anyone had this experience?

Is that an average, a point in time? I think it needs a little more context for non EV owners, thanks!
Its max on a 500V charger is 225kW and even pulling in with a relatively high SoC it still got near 200kW using the booster. As with all chargers, speed fluctuates but in the 11 mins I was charging an average would’ve been around 135kW

I'm not sure how many devices it limits it to (if any) but I run TiDAL on my Phone, Sonos, Mac, & Lucid all using the same account and have had no issues.
Wait you can run TiDAL on Sonos? Oh great now I have to figure out TiDAL, plus a brand new car 😡

It will be; right now it’s just the shock and tilt.
