Gravity Delivery Discussion

I hear ya. Tidal’s support does suck. Their UX in the Air sucks even more.

But there is no better option today for Lucid.

The Tidal website only lists Tesla, Mercedes, and Volkswagen as the "devices" that Tidal supports. And they also list CarPlay and Android Auto as devices.

Doesn't Lucid have a native app for Tidal in both the Air and the Gravity? Or can you only connect through CarPlay?

Also, I can find nothing on the Tidal website that says anything about how many cars you can connect to an individual account. Does the individual plan allow that, or do you have to sign up for the six-member family plan to run Tidal on three different cars?

If I want to run Tidal in three different cars, can I do it off one individual account? (The Tidal website doesn't answer this question, nor does their automated "support" line.)

I'm not sure how many devices it limits it to (if any) but I run TiDAL on my Phone, Sonos, Mac, & Lucid all using the same account and have had no issues.

Congrats! I'll be getting mine on Sunday (They bumped me up a day from the originally scheduled Monday delivery I couldn't do). Stay safe on your trip!
Dr Zorro I can confirm your black Gt Gravity is in Houston. I saw it yesterday as I was looking at the green Gravity that just arrived. The manager told me that the software update was not complete yet

Glad you got to see it...though it better have been the Dream version, not the GT! Hopefully you took lots of pics! Lol. Well, they better get the software update done ASAP because I'm supposed to pick it up in Dallas on Sunday!

Was the Green Gravity you saw the Houston Studio show car? If so, did they also have a demo drive car?

The one thing I have not been impressed with so far is the heads up display, maybe there’s updates coming / settings that need configuration. The content is too large and does not appear in my normal line of sight when driving (I felt like I had to change my eyes focus to see the content)
Is there no settings menu to adjust HUD height/depth/brightness? Our Volvo has that, made it much better than the default.

You can turn it on or off and adjust the brightness. The main thing to note for now is that it's in its early infancy and will evolve over time through OTA's

Spotify will let you use many devices with one account, but not simultaneously. This had me erroneously cursing Lucid's Spotify software while driving last week until I realized that my wife was using my Spotify account at home at that time. PICNIC - Problem in Chair, Not in Computer

Drove by the Scottsdale studio and service center this morning. Saw Aurora Green Gravity’s in the back lot and being prepped for delivery. Can’t wait to start seeing them out on the roads soon!
Hope one is mine!! :) I was told it came off the line on 6/18 but status hasn't changed yet so doubt it but hopeful. :)

Ok yeah I’m sure they’ll give you a position adjustment option eventually, I think most HUDs offer that. And Halo secure is not active yet either, correct?

It's active, not going to kick the car to find out if it's working though. Someone else can test that 😂

Oh I thought Halo secure was more than that feature, that’s just the same as shock tilt alert. Although I guess the addition of detecting an “unauthorized occupant” is new, wonder how it does that? Wasn’t halo secure supposed to be like Tesla sentry mode? Just trying to learn what’s currently active in the car and what’s coming soon.

I don’t know. I just know they said it came off the line last Thursday. They have to do software updates and quality control inspections and all that still.
Thanks! Do you know when you got a VIN? That’ll be close enough.

Just got word that we can take delivery of our Green/Tahoe GDE at 3:00 June 30 in Miami.

What that actually means is that we'll just be driving over to inspect the car and get the owner orientation. We won't be taking it home. It'll be trucked from there over to the PPF shop in Naples.

Our second GDE (Black/Yosemite) is still just showing "Order Confirmed" with no word on a production start date. Since Lucid seems to be batching production in clumps, I guess we'll be waiting for another batch on that one.
