The GT engine power is listed as 617 kW, and the DE is listed as 798 kW.Digit 8 is “K” for 5-seat.

On a Sunday evening!? Or just posting now?Got a call that my DE was going to production and I was not expecting such a quick turnaround since I only booked it 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately will have to cancel and take the 1K hit for the deposit.

And this, right here, is why people are still getting offered DEs.Got a call that my DE was going to production and I was not expecting such a quick turnaround since I only booked it 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately will have to cancel and take the 1K hit for the deposit.
I kind of agree with one of the other posts on the forum that range trumps HP and will wait and see if the Gravity sees the same sales from early adaptors as was the case with the Air GT and DE’s.
Happy and excited for those who are about to receive theirs over the next month or so.

Probably true.
The irony is that the range penalty for the GDE is actually quite small -- either 16 or 27 miles depending on wheel choice. And that's based on using the entire battery pack, which is almost never done. So, with most people using somewhat less than the full pack capacity between charges on a road trip, the difference in range between stops will actually be quite negligible.
On top of that, the access to Superchargers and the charging speed of the Gravity make charging considerably less of an issue than it is with the Airs.
From my perspective, the extra 242 horsepower of the DE comes with no significant trade-off.
So how do you think the Gravity production line is running now?And this, right here, is why people are still getting offered DEs.![]()
This was exactly where my thoughts were as well. The range is not drastic and really a non-starter compared to other new EV vehicles. I mean even ICE vehicles are less than the GDE's range.Probably true.

I can think of roughly 14,000 tradeoffsFrom my perspective, the extra 242 horsepower of the DE comes with no significant trade-off.

Smarter for people to wait and see regarding whatever features they want and willing to spend. I think if I were not planning on keeping this new vehicle for +10 years, I would buy a cheap Tesla and play the waiting game.

Nothing here and I KNOW I had the very first DE order LOL.I’ve seen your posts, so I know.
My configuration is the same as @Udon1122’s, and different wheels from @billvb but otherwise similar. Maybe it’s all just random though!
@hydbob, any sign of a VIN in your account?
The vehicle loaded on the /portal/documentation page either depends on the last order you selected in your account dashboard, or the vin query parameter. But if your Gravity status is still “Ordered” then I guess it makes sense.

Obviously because I don't complain as much as @borskiNow that's downright weird. Any idea as to why, especially as you're getting the Aurora Green / Tahoe combo that is definitely coming off the production line already?
What’s that saying about the pot and the kettle?Well, someone had to say it.![]()
