Gravity Delivery Discussion

I finally took delivery today of my Black GGT with the missed wheels, DDP, comfort, surreal pro and tow. Great car so far. Only has a few issues at delivery (paint swirls and panel on the seat). I was disappointed I wasn’t allowed to drive the car before accepting delivery. That’s a bit nerve racking. But the one bug I have is the GPS. It’s as if the car generally knows where it is, but not precisely enough to navigate. So it’s constant rerouting. I did a few resets to no avail. I’m even impressed the walk up and away locks work with the key fob. Anyone have this GPS problem before?
Congratulations. It's a beauty. I can't wait to get my black GGT too.

Ron, what is your lease terms/pmt?
36 months / 15,000 miles and a bit under $1,600/month. It’s complicated, but I put about $15,000 down for various personal reasons. Normally, I’d put no money down as it doesn’t make financial sense.

The residual is something like $67,000. Which actually feels about right - maybe a bit low BUT it depends on what the Touring offers. If the Touring has dual motors and many of the same options - like dynamic handling - I think GGT resale/residual will go down significantly.

I had the exact same configuration except I had the rear steering and power package minus HUD. A month ago, I talked to my SA on the phone and changed it from Grey to Black (I have a grey Model X). She called me last week and told me I have a pre-VIN. My dashboard changed to show her as my SA but the car is still in the "ordered" position. She told me that she expected it to enter production in the next month or so with delivery by or in November, which works well for us. She said, changing to black moved me up because that is what they're ramping up with. I ordered the beginning of February 25.
Same here coming from a Grey X, I preferred the Quantum from Gravity; however with the possibility on taking delivery late Q4 I ordered the Black instead & saved $1k for the color

Congratulations! Looks awesome 😎 Don’t let the bugs get to you. We’re all experiencing a few hiccups here and there with these early deliveries and consensus is confidence Lucid will chip away at them through OTA updates.

Like you, I’d never been able to test drive a Gravity, but was absolutely amazed at the ride quality and handling when I ultimately drove off the lot. The Gravity suspension is a masterpiece.

Here? If so, your car is at latitude 0, longitude 0 - aka your GPS is broken. :p

Yep, that would be us. Although we've been at Lucid HQ in Newark most of the past two weeks except for a couple of quick runs down to Casa Grande. Come to think of it, I never really seem to know where I am.

A couple of questions for you - 1: Is there a way to find out in advance what your money factor and residual value will be, before you sign the paperwork for the lease? I was pottering around on Lucid’s ordering and finance page, and I couldn’t find any of that information. 2: Would it make more, or any, financial sense to put a down payment if you intend to buy the car at the end of the lease anyway?

I realise leasing to purchase an auto is not the cheapest or most sensible way to purchase a car, but I’m now considering leasing so as to take advantage of the tax credit.

Thanks in advance.
