Gravity Delivery Discussion

What do you mean by "panel on the seat"?
Just that little part on the left side of the 3rd row seat. Wouldn’t go flush like the other seat.

Weird, yeah that’s something that service should be able to fix, not sure what gets checked in PDI. As far as the GPS it’s close to where you’re at but a street or two off? I’ve had Apple Maps and Waze do that in the Air a couple times. Maybe overnight sleep will reset it but yeah otherwise that should be a service ticket also, CS might even be able to try a remote reboot or remote software update re-push.

If I’m not mistaken, isn’t there a difference in the 2nd row floor mats between 5 and 7 seat variants? It appears so in the online configurator: the 7-seater 2nd row mats have a series of “notches” to accommodate the 2nd row sliding forward on rails (presumably for third row passenger access) while the 5-seat variant is a solid uninterrupted mat.
There are photos of the mats for the front passenger seat, front driver seat, 2nd row and two photos of the mats being the second row (I didn’t want to fold down the seats to get a better photo). I have no 3rd row of seats.

I was disappointed I wasn’t allowed to drive the car before accepting delivery.
That was rather weird to hear during delivery. I had test driven a Gravity back in May, but couldn't drive the one I was about to purchase. I get it, but definitely different from the traditional dealership experience.

I am 5 hours from the closest test drive. It is weird buying a car based on You Tube videos and this forum. I sure hope you guys aren't all AI bots.

But the one bug I have is the GPS. It’s as if the car generally knows where it is, but not precisely enough to navigate. So it’s constant rerouting. I did a few resets to no avail. I’m even impressed the walk up and away locks work with the key fob. Anyone have this GPS problem before?

Since our delivery in Florida on June 30, our satellite map and navigation system has shown the car in only three places which it switches randomly between: Newark, CA (I think near Lucid HQ), the desert around Casa Grande, AZ (the factory location), and in the Atlantic Ocean off the west coast of Africa. The only time I have seen the car on a map in Florida was on the mobile app, and that was showing where the car was the day before at an EA charging station, not where it was at the time I came across the map.

Also, nothing that works off the GPS system has functioned since delivery: no ADAS features that need to know the car is on an authorized route, no Homelink geofencing, no time zone adjustment of the clock to actual location, etc.

The car is in the shop right now to have this and other problems addressed. No what and when yet on the fix.

I can't speak for the others, but I breathe air and am physically bound by gravity. 😀
