Gravity Delivery Discussion

How can I find out where in the pipeline I am with my order? I have no idea what the timeline is for deliveries. Am I looking at one month, several months, next year? My order contact at Lucid did not respond to my request for a date.

You can try emailing lucid sales or calling. Unfortunately, there’s really no good way to know unless you can get your SA to tell you if you have. Pre-vin, cat has been batched, etc. Also, at this point, the best indicator is usually getting a VIN - seems to be ready 30-45 days after that. Now, there are folks on here who have had a VIN much longer, so YMMV.

Also, it’s way too early to know that if you order a car on a specific date, it will come within a given timeframe. They’re just not ramped yet.

The letter last night made it sound like it should be much more predictable at end of the”summer”…BUT, that also means Lucid will be overwhelmed and likely understaffed when the ramp comes, if prior experience with Tesla and Rivian are an indication.

My current timeline, SA notified me it will be ready in 30-45 days

Pending to Prepare for Delivery

My SA (Michael Meader from Pasadena) has been amazing, knew about Gravity from Kim Java. Signed up for Lucid Stay Informed on 07/01/2025, received call next day from Michael, called me on 07/16/2025 for test drive on 07/18/2025 & put in the deposit.
I have similar specs- Black/Stealth GGT, 21/22, Yosemite, 5 seater, Handling, Comfort. Just got my Vin this week.

I noticed that as of today, my SA (who I’ve been in contact with since I ordered a few months ago) is finally listed on the order page in my account. Does that signify any real progress in the process?

I'm hoping this means black/platinum is coming back around on the build list, and maybe I'll be lucky enough to be assigned a vehicle finally. I wonder if anyone else has heard rumors about what batches are in the pipeline....
I called my sales rep yesterday to ask where my Lucid Gravity Grand Touring was as it's been stuck in order accepted since July 11th, yet to go into production. I need to take delivery before September 30th to get the $7500 from the government. It's frustrating as my rep is now suggesting maybe I find one already built. Wish they had a better order tracking system.

Hard to tell. At one point I got an email from Lucid congratulating me on my Gravity order and telling me to call my Sales Advisor with any questions. However, the name of the SA given in the email was not the same SA I had been assigned the day I ordered the Gravity and who had called me the same day. I thought maybe he had left the company, but when I called him to check he said he was still my SA and that I should continue to deal with him.

Thank you!

If your order includes the HUD (or Tech Package) and you ordered recently (within last couple months) do not expect delivery until early 2026 at earliest. Including Dream Drive Pro can also delay your order as well as colors other than green or black. The more flexible you are about which options your must have, the greater likelihood you can get sooner. Reading through this thread you will see people who ordered 8+ months ago with no signs of production even starting on their car but then you have some completely new buyer show up, talk to an SA who presents them with an unclaimed car (usually missing Tech, DDPro and some other options) and they jump on it and get their car much sooner. Don’t expect any clarity in the delivery estimates to improve until end of year.

My friend who ordered a gravity GT about 3 months ago ( no HUD or unavailable color) was just informed her car would be delivered in January (!) I hope I get my car (HUD, supernova bronze) sometime before spring2026. Crap

Do we think DDPro is delaying things just as much as HUD or has anyone seen recent vehicles with DDP?

It's clear that Lucid is in deep doo-doo with Gravity production, probably for a range of causes that are not all Lucid's fault.

But as someone who received a Gravity DE on June 30 and is also waiting on a second Gravity DE that is apparently stalled in entering production, I can only say that Lucid absolutely must hold off deliveries until these problems are worked through. If they press ahead with deliveries, the service network -- which was the saving grace during the early Air production issues -- will collapse.

Wait times for service have already gotten longer with the start of Gravity deliveries, and we are in queue to get some replacements parts with Lucid having no idea of when they will become available.

While I absolutely love driving our new Gravity in most circumstances, I also absolutely do not want another car in the garage with the same growing list of service ticket items to be fixed and mobile service / service center visits to be fitted into my schedule.

Lucid service people have been uniformly great for the past three and half years. But I don't want to see them once a week any more than they want to see me that often.
