I'm hoping this means black/platinum is coming back around on the build list, and maybe I'll be lucky enough to be assigned a vehicle finally. I wonder if anyone else has heard rumors about what batches are in the pipeline....

I believe platinum is being built now. I was recently offered two “in production” VINs and both were platinum. I love the stealth, so declined them.

The shades must’ve gone out of stock as I purchased them off the website a few weeks back. The cushion has never been available and I believe very few have been given one at delivery for DE’s

Good point.
I've seen the picture of the frunk seat in the Lucid store and never considered that bottom flap would cover the license plate.

Maybe. My SA told me they were making blacks but only in platinum, so our SAs are giving you and me conflicting information. Like others, I have also been offered orphan vehicles lately but only in platinum. So I do have a few data points - admittedly not conclusive.

I don't understand what's behind the batching, and it doesn't make sense that they would have to "change over" between stealth and platinum (just grab a different trim piece or set of rims, right?). So I think your explanation makes more sense unless there's something I'm missing. But the reality is that I am still waiting for my stealth on black.

Mine is in production right now and is black/stealth. Which was an orphaned vehicle I was called for over the weekend.

I purchased two sets of shades before our first Gravity arrived. I'm surprised they're already out of stock. Maybe that's a good sign about Gravity order volume?

We also got the frunk seat with our first Gravity . . . but also only one key fob with no word on when the second one will arrive.

I will be storing the frunk seat in our garage, as I do not expect to use it and want to reduce what weight I can with the car. (I'm thinking about ordering the folding -- and lightweight -- frunk storage bins so that I can secure small items in the frunk.)

I also stored the very heavy tow shaft that I found in a rear cargo compartment.

According to Nick Twork it’s starting this month but not to expect large numbers.

I’m not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere, but my SA told me last week that Quantum Grey is scheduled for September production (at which point I switched to AG).

Changed my order to a AG/tahoe GDE. Not sure when production will be finished for all of these. My SA believes these will come before any of the GGTs with tech. Who knows! I’m surprised that any GDEs are still remaining however I guess the price is a bit steep….

About that tow shaft.
The tow package is now on my radar since the GGT my SA found for me recently includes the tow package.

The description of the tow package on the configurator says "Towing Package includes: Tow Bar, Receiver, Integrated Wiring Harness w/ Trailer Socket Connector (6,000lbs on Grand Touring Towing Capacity).

Can you or any of the GDE owners or any GGT owner with the package expound on the three components?
Maybe provide pictures.

Tow Bar? The tow bars that I'm familiar with are more like the one pictured in this post by @codys21 .
BTW @codys21 I'm mentioning you since this information is probably more useful to you than me based on your post.

I'm thinking this is the Receiver, based on the instructions provided on p.115 of the manual.

Page 115 of the manual refers to an "elecrical connector". Might that be the "Integrated Wiring Harness w/ Trailer Socket Connector"?

He's referring to the detachable tow hitch. I took mine out of the compartment as well and stuck the charging adapters in there. I think a big miss was a dedicated compartment for the charging cable like the Air. Sad that there's no slot for it.

I am so bummed that they have such a low weight-bearing hitch compartment. I already bought a Yamika Swingbase Cargo box (bought used months ago when I thought I was going Rivian R1S) and then found out the Gravity can't even support it. Matter of fact, it will barely support my e-bike with a decent carrier on the back. I wish there was an option or aftermarket approved option of beefing up the accessory hitch. I know, I'm dreaming... ;-)
