Gravity Bugs / Issues

I will be incredibly frustrated if I bring my car in Monday and they tell me the have to order the regulator for the window they’ve known about for 2+ weeks. I remain hopeful.
Millbrae, for me, usually waits until parts have arrived. That said, they sometimes receive a part that doesn’t fit or is defective, or discover they need another part, so they’ll keep it if that happens.

We did our test drive at West Palm but I noticed on the lease quote it states delivery at Riviera Beach.

Yes, they are neighboring towns. The West Palm Beach studio site, which is a very Tony location, cannot accommodate a Service Center, so they are not combined as they are at the Miami Worldcenter.

Here is the report on what happened with the Gravity at the Service Center over the past two weeks. Sorry, but I can only post it as a screen shot. For the last few days, any time I use the "reply" feature on the forum or use certain emoji's I get an "Oops / error" message that will not allow the post. It happened with this post, even after I tried removing boldfacing and italics.

I am getting an Air loaner, so I really won’t mind if it takes a couple of days. But have a road trip Friday - so

Well, really glad to hear the nav issue is fixed as that impacts so many things and hope the follow up HUD update helps.

Interesting the nav was software after all that…

Hi @hmp10
Glad to hear your Gravity has many of its issues resolved! Fingers crossed 🤞

How about the key fob? Did they replace your console?

I forget if you had experienced key fob issues before the service. But how about now? Anything you can share about how your experience unlocking and starting the Gravity for your drives after it came back from service?

My understanding is it’s not a console replacement. It’s checking some wiring in the console to make sure it’s not loose / getting pinched against something.

Nothing was touched concerning the console. We turned the auto lock/unlook proximity sensor off early on per the advice of people on the forum who were having fob issues, and we avoided the issues for a couple of weeks. But then we began having to use the key card much of the time either to start the car or to put it into gear. We had one incident of having to do so on the way home when we were leaving a Supercharger station. (The manager of the Service Center said a software update was imminent to address the key fob issue so perhaps it, like our Nav/GPS problem, really does reside in the software?)

By the way, we charged our Air at this station on the way over and drew only 38-39 kW. With the Gravity on the return trip we started from a 43% charge and never topped 109 kW. 11 of the 12 charge posts were in use during most of that session, so it might have been site load. However, we did not get a message that charging was being limited by the station as we have gotten at a couple of other SC sites where we were actually drawing more power.

I have the fob issue and my car is going in Monday for the window issue I have too, so will keep folks posted. Been starting car with the key card for three weeks.
