I was specifically (and solely) responding to the “seems more interested in making videos than…” comment. It is his job to do PR, just as it is his job to ensure the comms issues get fixed.

I enjoyed the video and it’s shows he knows his stuff it’s just the optics of it that look bad. When you’ve got issues getting cars out the factory I just think it was dropped at the wrong time.

Anyone else at Lucid could’ve done that video and I wouldn’t be so critical but to me, it just rubbed me up the wrong way.
 
You can add me to the tracker, GT Quantum Grey, Tahoe Interior, reservation placed Feb 1 (but it was originally for Touring, changed it to GT on 3/25)

Reserved Air Touring 7/3/21, upgraded reservation to Air Grand Touring 10/29/21, Ordered Air Grand Touring Black with Tahoe interior 19” range wheels 11/30/21, VIN assigned 3/11/22, production completed 3/18/22, awaiting notice of completed final inspection, shipping and delivery dates.

Just got the same email. So getting closer!
 
Just got the call that my car has completed construction and will be headed out to Costa Mesa for PDI and detail. Now a new clock starts. :)

I'm taking it in to get wrapped tomorrow so will take some later today. apologies in advance, it is rainy here today so it might be under piss poor lighting. if it is dry tomorrow, I will simply take more.

Don't get too annoyed you didn't hear from Doreen, she just wasted my time and never even called. Told her to never contact me again as she wasn't serious about hearing my concerns in the first place. This company has a serious communication problem and seems completely disorganized.

I don't know, I'm leaning more towards cancelling at this stage. The only thing making me stick with it are the reviews of the current owners otherwise I would've run a long time ago. I'm just not a fan of rewarding poor behavior..... I'm torn because the feedback on the car is good yet the experience people are getting from Lucid is not "Luxury" at all. If I cancel, I will probably just move to Tesla which annoyingly will be a longer wait than if I just wait for the Lucid. That's the only advantage I see to stick with it right now because no matter how long the delays I will still probably get it sooner than ordering a car from someone else.
