It falls within "bolt campaign" area of time that causes quite a few vehicles to be delayed several months. If you look at several VIN assignments in the February - Early March range.

Yep, still waiting on PDI to start. I’m quite certain that the bottleneck is the inspection instead of factory QC. Hopefully will take delivery this week otherwise I’ll have to reschedule my PPF appointment.

I was originally quoted delivery 3-8 weeks after VIN (just hit 3 weeks today) and my DA has been consistent with communication. While I’d love to get it sooner rather than later, I’d rather it be done right.

Lucid is scheduling deliveries weeks in advanced now. I believe someone had their delivery scheduled for May 15th.

That is only a good thing if they are scheduling deliveries at the time of VIN assignment. If they are scheduling deliveries for weeks out after PDI, then one might be waiting 3 months after VIN assignment for the car.

We’ll get there one day…but in the example I have I believe they scheduled the delivery pre-PDI but several months after VIN assignment.

No, the recall was for a suspension related item. This was different and looked to be quite isolated.

As someone pointed out, my delivery date was incorrect. It should be March 29 and NOT April 29.

I know my car is at Millbrae - spoke with DA today. Was told there are a couple cars ahead of me in the queue for PDI. No timeline on delivery yet though. Hopefully @copper is soon because I’m not long after!

I’m optimistic about PDI starting this week, though no idea how long it’ll take. I’ll be stoked if I get it before the weekend so I can drive it a bit before PPF :P

Progress:

* April 12: VIN
* April 18: Finished production
* April 22: Left Casa Grande
* April 25: Arrived Michigan service center

TIL that payment agreements are done separately so aren’t necessarily triggered by the car leaving Casa Grande. And that Goose Island is busy, so Michigan is now being used for some East coast deliveries.
