Google Maps Zooming In and Out

It seems since new update 2.1.47 Google Maps keeps zooming in and out all by itself. As per CS I've done soft reboot of the system 2x as well as deleted and reloaded Google Mpas on my iPhone. Apple Maps works perfectly. Anyone else have this issue? Solutions?

I don’t have Google issue, but GPS location on native navigation first time seeing off. This is on 2.1.43, anyone else can relate??

I had that for several hours while on a road trip a few months ago. It eventually "fixed itself".

Already discussed; workaround for Waze is here. I imagine there’s a similar one for Google Maps, but please discuss on that thread.
