Forum traffic seems slow

Posting for the first time to boost traffic. Ordered an Aurora Green on Wednesday. Had ordered a AGT in late ‘21 but had to cancel because I couldn’t wait for the delays because my lease was up. Bought an EQS instead. I can wait it out this time.

Vietnam draft dodger here.
For perspective: The early (years ago) posts on this site were frequent and fantastic.
It was wonderful to read the posts of the Dream Edition owners: early adopters, wealthy, well-informed, and I have to guess that like me, many posting from a keyboard, not a phone.
I ignore posts from non-owners. Let them post on Reddit, with the rest of the trolls.

The flaws are so few (since I got my car in "22 = none) and so trivial, and the car so awesome,
there is not much to complain about, which, for many folk seems to be the motivation to post or seek an enthusiast site.
There are a lot of appreciation posts...more than one would expect for a brand new model/car company.
I don't even want to know more about the Welshman = he seems perfect.

I have seen this happen to enthusiast sites: if you find and get into one early you can have a lot of fun, then slowly it regresses to represent the general population.
That's what is happening. There are a few bright sparks just now joining, and the old-timers are not quite out of witty, funny, and informative things to add, but it's worth reading some of the archives from years ago. Almost everything has already been through a deep dive.

I would be posting more about how happy I am to have one, but a tiny deer ran into me in mid July and cracked my front bumper cover. The car worked fine so I drove to the local service center and was told to go to a Main Line body shop (Ferraris, Lambos, etc.). So I drove it there. I'm saying it was just minor cosmetic damage, but I haven't heard what they found.
My car is still there. Since July. ??? I could have replaced the bumper cover myself...or just put some bondo on the crack.

A receptionist called Wednesday to tell me I've missed an update (or two?)...and "they are working on the car".
Meanwhile, I see a Dream Edition for sale near me...it's driving me crazy. I can afford it but I have a wife.
I keep thinking to wait until I get my car back and the urge to Dream Edition will pass. (I got on the list too late)

Well ... I'll be posting when the divorce happens.

see = I only posted to complain.

I have a 2005 Honda Element that still runs good. I use it for my outdoor gear. The Gravity might replace it if I ever decide to not keep it running. That's doubtful. Gravity will be my toy!

The website "Element Owners Club" was started in 2002 for owners to connect. Honda stopped making the Element in 2011 but that website is still active. Not sure how active, but active as needed.

My youngest son has wanted a Corvette since he was a kid in the 90's. He recently bought a 1998 model. He says the number of people online offering support/info/advice is amazing.

I hope and believe that as long as Lucids are on the road, this site will serve a purpose.

Who knows, one day our children/grandchildren (depending on your age 😀) will be on here reading about when cars actually rolled on tires and wheels. Old school tech.

Well, we don't have mid-terms anymore (in America, I believe), but I do need to prepare for the SAT I'm taking next month and just generally study more than I did last year!
Yay! You’re definitely gonna crush those SATs! What schools you thinking about?

I think it's important to keep in perspective, that, Lucid just hasn't sold THAT many cars out there yet.
And only a fraction of that group will join a forum like this.
In that regard, the traffic currently seems pretty healthy!

I imagine it will only grow over time, as we continue to zoom past that creaky dinosaur, Tesla.
I chuckled when I read Tesla being a creaky dinosaur. 🦖

Thank you! It seems pretty easy, and based on my PSAT, an attainable score would be a 1550.

As for schools, I already have a full list of which ones I want to apply to, but because I obviously don't know my grades for next year, it'll be pretty hard to determine which are "target" schools or reach schools. However, at this rate, I can reasonably infer that some targets include UC Berkeley (Haas), NYU (Stern), and UMich (Ross).

Business, huh? I had higher hopes for you, kid. :p

Finance, actually, but as I have a lot of AP credits, I also plan to take a double major in a "passion" major too (although I haven't decided on which one yet)! I really like finance, but it's probably not something I'd want to do for ~40 years. I assume that something like architecture or automobile engineering would be incredibly fun/fulfilling for me, and since I have the "space" to fit it in my college schedule, there is no reason not to do them.
