Actually, I never could play the piano, but I wanted to join in with all the recent OP's complaining about everything under the sun. By what insane streak of luck have I had zero problems of significance in 9.5 months and 10.5k miles? Or, maybe something else is afoot.

Same here. My car has had no issues of significance since I bought it 23 months age.

Or, maybe something else is afoot.
Yes, there is. Lucid purposefully rigged your car to make it not have issues, along with 12000 other cars!! Immediately sell your stocks... maybe this is what will cause Lucid's bankruptcy.

"Owner says they can't play piano" -- I don't believe I have a category for that in my spreadsheet.

I understand the humor and love it. I've only had one significant issue (audio completely muting irregularly) in 18-months, but it's not a big deal. The car has been trouble-free, more so than any other car I've owned. Well, it does have one flaw. It keeps wanting to drive back to Casa Grande.

Don't want to jinx it, but me neither. I've had zero issues of note and whatever little was the issue Lucid promptly fixed it. My biggest issue is wind noise from drivers door and after getting told it's within spec, I'm not sure I can call even that a problem. I've had a great ownership experience thus far, and a large part of it has probably to do with me going into this with my eyes open that this is kinda a new experimental car..but when I analyzed the tech myself, I saw why this was better made than anything else out there. I reserved it in 2020 and took delivery in 2023.

FYI... There is a Lucid TSB that has to do with putting stiffer clips into the horizontal bars at the top of every door. The old clips allowed those horizontal bars to 'roll' a little from the door being repeatedly closed. (I don't have soft close doors, so perhaps my car is more susceptible to the force of closing.) Anyway, those clips did the trick for me. BTW, I see we agree on what we call a 'significant' problem. To me, that is one where I am stranded by my car, unable to use a key safety feature, or come to be reluctant to trust the car to get me from point A to point B. (I once had a 320i that I felt that way about.) After 10,500 miles on the odometer, and one 3,000 mile and two 1,500 mile trips without a hitch, I'm good to go.

Yeah I have those clips..got them on my 3rd visit out of 5 total visits about this issue...Oddly I don't think they helped my cause one bit..If the wind noise went away..it'll be a near perfect car for me..oh well

Contact customer care.
ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I don't know how many times I have to tell you.

👏 Please 👏 don't 👏 contact 👏 customer 👏 care 👏 about 👏 this 👏 for 👏 at 👏 least 👏 ONE 👏 WEEK 👏

If, then, you are still having this issue and/or haven't seen the update and/or haven't sold the car and/or haven't forgotten about it and/or haven't discovered actually oops you like it this way after all: then call customer care. or text them, preferably.

And if it's hardware, contact service directly. You can do it through the app. And be nice, goddamn it. There's people who hold those wrenches; treat them that way.

P.S. just buy the f***ing tire certs.

I just had that happen tonight for the 1st time (...and I've had the car 14 months already!) What did you do/have you done to resolve it? I noticed even the directional signals were muted. It was crazy and a very quiet 35 minute drive home tonight (and a bit frustrating)

Threads and posts like the OP's edge towards Tesla FanBoi zone. There are and will be issues, its part of the deal when you buy from what is essentially a start up. Our Air was down for 2 weeks with various issues, but the service center was great and ZERO complaints. Denying that this reality exists is like shielding your kids from failure, its not doing them any favors. Buy a Lucid and you have a higher probability of issues over a legacy ICE car, but they are temporary, they are working hard to push software updates, and its really a fantastic car. Setting and having realistic expectations often results in greater long term satisfaction.

As the OP, I don't think I'm edging all that close to the FanBoi zone. I've had my car in the shop twice. The first time was to have the headlights properly aligned. The second time was a scheduled overnight, wherein I had the window noise TSB completed, the TSB bass speaker tape fix completed, and to have DreamDrive Pro recalibrated in the hopes that it would perform better. It is now a little better. I have been fairly vocal on the forum about my displeasure with Highway Assist, with my difficulties convincing the car that my hands are indeed on the steering wheel, that Android Auto is so long delayed, and that that I don't think SurroundSound Pro performs in a manner that warrants the incremental cost. That said, it all comes down to the 'significance' I referenced, These are growing pains, and I can live with them in exchange for the many ways that I really like the car, and feel that I can rely on it. My post was primarily reacting to the slew of negative posts that have been pretty incessantly hitting the forum lately, and having a little fun with it.

I bet you’re fun at parties.
