Dual MagSafe phone charging

I will recommend TWRAPS to do some sort of cooling mechanism for the charging pad, wireless charging could heat up your phone, specially for a prolong time. Of course the power requirements might change if added, but at least on mine, the phone gets very hot.
That's strange, it shouldn't be getting too hot. What phone & case do you have?

Hey folks

Let me introduce myself - I am Iliya, and I and my wife (Maria) are the founders of TWRAPS. In short we started TWRAPS about 1.5 years ago. We're based in the Bay Area, California and we design, manufacture and ship our products ourselves (i.e. not outsourced abroad) in our facility in Concord, CA.

I noticed a lot of traffic coming in from here today, so I just wanted to drop by and say hi and introduce myself.
I haven't yet registered as a vendor here, but I will soon (so I can officially spam you every now and then 😃), but in the meantime if you have any questions, suggestions or any issues at all please reach out either here or via email at [email protected]. I am always happy to help!

Now for the specific product - the wireless charger, I just wanted to say this - I've only been able to test it on one Lucid Air, so I hope they are all the same. A few things that might cause issues if they are not (or at least the few that come to mind) are:
1. The cable leads or whatever those are, where we snap our charger, might be different between different cars.
2. The whole hole there might be slightly different (I've seen that with many cars unfortunately)
3. The power source might be different. Our charger currently supports 5V and 9V input, and in my experience so far most cars utilize either one of these, but in case Lucid upgraded to 15V only at some point, that won't work currently (but it might via the USB-A port, yet to be tested).

I am just saying this, because we literally just released our first bunch of Lucid products (after spending almost 3 weeks with the Lucid to make them), and I don't yet have enough data, so any feedback is very welcome and know this - if there are any issues I will either fix them and send you a new unit or your money back. That goes for all of our products, for all of the cars that we've developed.

Thanks!
I have purchased from you several times. Thank you for the great products and terrific service.

I have had one of these for months and it works great. Easy install - just drops into place after connecting USB cable, Lifts out of the way easily. It's a quality product. I also bought the TWRAPS and installed them. The "gorilla glass" for all the displays. When I installed the TWRAP over the large curved instrument display I got a finger print on the left corner, hardly noticeable but I contacted the company for any tips on how to remove the finger print. They said NO way to remove the finger print so they sent me an entirely new set of TWRAPS. That's overkill customer service! Great company, do not hesitant to buy from them

We got our FCC certification but no MFi certification yet. Not endorsed by or affiliated with Apple in any way. Not Qi2 yet either. That will likely come early next year on these chargers, as we're just in testing for the single pucks and then we have to do the double pucks which will be more challenging as the charging unit needs to be re-engineered.
Got it thanks!

I switched to iPhone 15 pro in January and got this spigen case. I also get over heating to the point where charging discontinues. Not sure why. It’s not particularly fast charging on either puck.

Interesting! And just to confirm - this does NOT happen on other chargers? If so, I'd guess there is some issue with ours, maybe a defective charging controller, not controlling properly. If that's the case just DM me with your order # and I will send you a new one right away 👍🏻
