Hi
I wonder if any others have this issue.
I just upgraded my phone from iPhone 13 Pro to an iPhone 16 Pro.

I had to pair my new phone. So first I removed (Forget device) my old phone. Then paired the new phone. All seems ok. Although I don’t see the CarPlay icon in the Connectivity tab, under Devices/my iPhone. I see the phone and music icons. See image.

I tried forgetting device (Lucid) on my phone’s end then re-pairing.

I had no issues before I upgraded my phone.
The new phone has iOS 18. I’m not sure if that’s the cause.

Suggestions?
Thanks in advance

If you migrated your old data over from your old phone, you might still have the Lucid in there under your Bluetooth and/or CarPlay settings. Be sure to remove it before trying to pair.

If this is not the case, you can try to plug the phone into the USB port and get it to pair that way. Then when you unplug it, it should move automatically to wireless.

Hi
I tried plugging in the phone. I see this (image) when I look in General/CarPlay. I keep trying to forget LUCID, but it always appears. I see Lucid Air 170 in my Bluetooth settings.

If I click on Lucid Air 170 in my CarPlay settings in iPhone it just spins.

Now I see Lucid Air 170 in Other Cars. See image.

I’ve tried to forget device several times on both ends.

I’m stumped.

This frustratingly happens to me a couple of times a week since I got my new Air two months ago. I need to go through Bobby's reset video, including Air logo reset, to get it working again - for about 48 hours. Then, is just spins until I go through the entire process again.

Things that can interfere: do you have a VPN? Also, turn off Personal Hotspot.
