Most of the video is spent going over the interior and exterior of the Air before taking it to the track.

This just confirms what we already know. The Lucid with its 400 lbs extra weight and slightly taller gearing just can’t pull the same low end acceleration numbers as the Tesla plaid. Where it really shines is the 60-130 mph sprint ( where most of us would need it) and the greater efficiency which translates to greater range. An acceptable trade off IMHO.

I don't even know that it's a trade-off unless you're on a race track or drag strip. On public loads, whether empty or in traffic, there's absolutely nothing we would want to do in our Plaid that we cannot do with equal alacrity in the Air. In fact, I've been a little more daring in the Air than in the Plaid, because the Air stays better planted under hard acceleration. It's clearly got a more sorted suspension.
