For those of us who have been around long enough, we can remember when Car & Driver was accused of always favoring BMW in every comparison, because BMW spent the most on advertising with them. This was a constant complaint in the “letters to the editor” in every edition. C&D even addressed this because it was such a common concern. We know Lucid isn’t the top spender on ads, right?

I'll take the positive press all day, however garnered. I also think it's warranted, by the way. Software aside, it's one of the best cars I've ever owned. I think people sometimes forget about all of the other aspects of the vehicle aside form the software. It's a real joy to drive.
