Lucid AGT Black/Mojave
I got my black AGT a few weeks ago, but did not post pics as I took it to my shop to get the canopy and side mirror caps wrapped. I also got a PPF (Paint Protection Film) for the front and the whole car ceramic coated. For the wrap, I was debating between glossy black to match the rest of the body or to do something similar to the NYC video. I went with the non-glossy black. I'm going to take more pictures when I have time and I'll take close ups of the wrap so you can see the effect up close. Let me know your thoughts. Also, if you live in the LA area, I can direct you to the shop where I got this done. They are very reasonable in terms of price.

I am in Newport Beach and have a AGT Zenith Red/Tahoe that I hope to receive this summer. I am interested in knowing where you had your vehicle done and if any Lucid owners closer by in Orange County has a recommendation for Paint Protection Film and wraps. Is anyone familiar with Protective Film Solutions in Santa Ana? Sales rep at Newport Beach studio mentioned them to me.

There's lots of places down in your area. Some of them are a bit pricey. I don't personally know any but you should be able to find one that is good. I called my old shop but they lost their PPF technician so I had to go with the shop I used. They actually did a good job and charged a decent price.

Forgot to say that your car looks beautiful!

PFS is the premier shop in the OC. They are pricey but they do good work.

After taking delivery of my black AGT, I found myself extremely pleased with exactly how it looks so have decided against any looks-altering wraps. Would PPF and/or ceramic coating leave the car completely unchanged in terms of looks?

That would be my move. I like the existing contrast.

Yep

Thank you very much. I think I prefer the glossy blacked out one from the other thread. (this one)

I was 80% leaning towards something like this but after seeing the car I was 100% on board with keeping it exactly as it is. The black paint job is incredible and the silver accents are a perfect match for the black imo.

There looks like a small dent which it definitely makes it look like a convertible top. Nice

I like how they blacked out the front too. I’m not a fan of the lip.
The problem with blacking out the front lip chrome piece is that it is very difficult to wrap due to the way the illuminated LUCID is constructed. Either the wrap cover the entire LUCID emblem or be messy around it.

Good to know. Would be nice if they would give me my car already! Lol.

I’m not very familiar with vinyl. They can’t just cut out holes for it the illuminated letters like they do for parking sensors? Or does it not look right if they do that.

They can, but the lettering would need wrap as well as there is chrome on top of the illuminated part.

I'm aware I'm asking on a old thread, but if this isn't glossy how glossy is glossy?
