Hopefully not until we can confirm it works! Either way we thank you for your service ec256Does this mean that we can officially shutdown the Android Auto Thursday thread?

The roll out starts with iPhone users. Once they all have the update then Android users will get the update.Has anyone seen rollout schedule for the OTA update ? My app and car still say my 2.6.16 ver is up to date.
There is no official roll out schedule. I am guessing the roll out will start sometime this week and hopefully within the next 2-3 weeks majority of owners should have it.Has anyone seen rollout schedule for the OTA update ? My app and car still say my 2.6.16 ver is up to date.
Patience! Lucid's announcement literally went out 2 hours agoHas anyone seen rollout schedule for the OTA update ? My app and car still say my 2.6.16 ver is up to date.
Ah. I knew CarPlay was similar, but I was hoping the delay in AA would have allowed for deeper implementation. I guess the resolution that the screen is different enough to warrant a Lucid specific AA release. That image is accurate. It’s precisely the same as the viewport on CarPlay, at least partially because of Apple’s requirements for CarPlay, and I imagine Google’s for AA.
It’s not that bad, but yes, there is some wasted space in both.
Nothing Lucid can do about that.
I don't think the screen resolution has anything to do with it. If its similar to the Apple requirements, the pilot panel is too low and would cause the driver to look down, distracting them from driving so they have no choice but to put it on the top screen. Not sure about AA but Apple is only allowing more flexibility on screens in CP Ultra so for now, it's why everything is still contained in a box.Ah. I'm just going off of one of the out of spec episodes with the design engineer. He mentioned that they learned a lot about screen designs to allow for AA & CarPlay. Could just be interpreting that differently than others. I took it as the fundamental arc of the screen being an issue with creating a standard resolution. It's why I think the Gravity has a rectangle instead of the arc screen like the Air. It's easier to implement any separate screens in general.I don't think the screen resolution has anything to do with it.
