2.4.0 / 2.4.2 / 2.4.3 / 2.4.4 OTA

Somewhere along the software update road my car lost Amazon Music from its apps. I could request a song to be streamed from Amazon Music using "Alexa", but I cannot with "Hey Lucid." When I checked my apps list, Amazon Music had disappeared, and I can't find a way to reinstall it.

Can anyone help?
There never was an Amazon Music app, it was just kind of accidentally lumped in with Alexa. That was the only way to access it. Now that Alexa is gone, Amazon Music is also gone (for now). Perhaps an app will show up in the future.

I just updated my lucid GT 23 and have not taken it for drive yet but at first glance all is good

But I notice that the front lighting welcome behavior is back as we used to it

Also I am not sure if this is an old trick or new but when you double tab the lucid on the screen l, it will turn it off

Lastly the lucid color is still the same sliver as before in the main screen and it is now shown my own car color
The double tap has always been there.

Damn. I lost my Tidal connection with an earlier update and was never able to reconnect. Numerous calls and emails to Tidal customer (non-)service got me nothing but links to a help page that had no relevant information. So I canceled my Tidal subscription and upped my Amazon account Amazon Music Unlimited in an attempt to keep Dolby Atmos. Now I'm down to just Spotify, which is not as good a quality even on the highest quality setting. One more software "update", and I could lose music streaming altogether.

Has Lucid paused or given up pushing 2.4.4? I’m still on 2.3.10. I emailed Customer Care last week but received no response.

You should contact CS again. Can’t get 2.4.10 without updating to the earlier updates.

Does this work for everyone after the 2.4.4 update? It doesn't work for me, I take curves at the exact same speed, and I have to step on the breaks so I don't lose control

It does work if the curve is sharp enough. However, it slows more aggressively than I would. I'd say its tuned for leisurely driving.

I guess that's the only thing that doesn't work for me then.

What speed are you doing where you feel like the car is going legitimately lose control if you don't take over?

I have set it for 82 and observed it slowing to ~76 for a corner with no cars in front of me. So, on that front, the feature appears to generally work. For the record, the corner could've absolutely been taken at 82 without issue, but it would've been more lateral G for the passengers than I would've liked.

I have tried different speeds all while taking an exit. 65, 75, and 85 (85 was on a split on i95)
I will do some more tests. It is not a must-have feature for me, was just curious if it works for others

I'm not sure HA takes exits though?

willingly? or do you have to force it into the exit lane?
I have to turn the steering to the exit lane.
Is this why it doesn't slow down? Does it have to be a curve on the road? hmmm

Possibly, have you tested it on a curve on the highway? I think when you force it to exit, HA is disengaged. You can tell next time, whether or not the lane is that amber color or if it's grey.

HA is not supposed to take exits, but it doesn't disengage immediately. Still, you're not supposed to use it on exits. I think the automatic slowdown is at least partially based on mapping, not just vision/sensors, so it would make sense that it doesn't know what to do on roads where it's not supposed to be used.

HA on an exit? Given the MASSIVE variation in geometry of exits from highways, I don't think that's a reasonable assumption. Try it while driving on the highway.
