19" 20" 21" wheels sell/trade thread

Here in Boulder, there are services that will go to the place where you are getting the tires changed, pick up the tires, and store them for you for about $20 a month. Might want to see if anyone in your area offers that sort of thing.

I’m considering swapping my Air GT 21” wheels with the OEM Pirelli tires (these have about 2K miles on them and have been in storage since October) for a set of 20” aero wheels/tires. Any takers? Some curb rash on the front passenger side rim, but otherwise in great shape (happy to pay a bit for a trade if the 20s are like new or brand new). Happy to provide pics for those interested.

I will have a set of 4 lucid stock 19” wheels currently wrapped in ceramic pro stealth (satin) black which could easily be removed (or not) that I will sell as soon as my new wheels can be installed which I’m told will be 1/28. Putting feelers out for anyone looking to trade a set of 20 inch aero lite wheels for like new 19 inch aero range wheels in the Philly/NJ/NYC area. The 19s I currently have on my Touring have 1700 miles on them. They would also come with the black lug nuts and silver center hub caps along with the aero inserts.

Looking for a set of 19" wheels with all-seasons as well. My used GT came with 21's which won't work here in the next few weeks. No call back yet from customer service about ordering a new set in the past 2 days.

No they won't.
Even a second 21" wheel with tire fit in the trunk. I have one spare 21" in trunk which takes most of the space.

shopping for 21" because the 19" break traction at all four corners with all this torque, (and I have never left Smooth mode).
Car is a beast: will rip the 19" rubber right off the rims.

you guys are aware that you are not to drive "sprint" on the 19s ?

I don’t believe they would enable a car to have sprint mode and then sell 19” with those cars. Where did u read that ? Thanks

Literally every time you hit the sprint mode button. The 19s are not intended for use with sprint mode, as they are all season tires, and sprint mode is intended to be used with summer tires. The manual states this as well.

The 21s stick to the road like no other, and don’t squeal in a launch. The 19s will squeal in a launch, and while they don’t lose traction, it’s due to the great electronic traction control, not the tires.
