“Auto Condition Seats and Steering Wheel” feature ??

Apologies in advance if this is obvious to others….What does the Auto Condition Seats and Steering Wheel feature specifically do? The brief explanation in its pop-up window says:

”Automatically condition seat and steering wheel temperature for increased comfort and enhanced vehicle efficiency.”

Does this merely mean that the steering wheel and seats will auto-match the temperature one has set for the cabin?

The feature is accessed via:

Pilot Panel -> Climate Control (fan icon) -> top row of icons, furthest to the right (3 horizontal lines with open circle on each line)

I'm curious about exactly what this does, too. I've got it enabled, but the only I've noticed is that the seat ventilation is on low whenever I get in to drive the vehicle.
