Connected Home Charger - Speed Decreasing on 100A Circuit

Basically Miami garaged vehicle on V3 Tesla Wall Charger that I used successfully at 48 amps on my two prior model 3 performances without issue. Only difference here is the lectron adaptor at the end of the charger.

Everything worked normal for the first two months I had the Pure beginning in March. Then sometime in May around the time of the update I THINK just before 2.7.0 it started this throttling behavior. There are several others in this thread who’ve had similar behavior begin around the same time in even cooler ambient temps then where I am.

That’s it in a nutshell.
I have pretty much the same set up. I had no issues for about 1.5 years. Then it seem like there was a software update and then I started to get the throttling. I'm surprised more people aren't speaking up on this.

Yeah, to me the key point through all of this is that in your case, and in mine and a few others that have popped up in this thread it appears that no conditions were changed before the problem and after the problem. That’s why I think we initially thought maybe it was the warming temperatures around May But there have been plenty of posts in this thread that make me doubt that especially post from people in Colorado and other places where although warm it’s not even anywhere close to where I am in South Florida. The common thread seems to be around Maytime, which leads me to believe it was a software update. Now, maybe it’s a safety thing that was intentionally pushed to the vehicles, but I just wish we knew that one way or another.

looking forward to a robustness update to address this. that would be a fitting release note!

I had issues from day 1. Charges at 18kw and then 15 - 45 min later, drops to 9kw and stays there. Doesn't matter if it winter or summer. Had customer service via email take pictures of the installation. Nothing wrong. Looks at my car's logs remotely, nothing wrong. Sends me to service center to inspect. Service center shows nothing weird.. but then again, i don't think their service center has 80 amp charger installed. Service even sent another Lucid car to see if it happens with their loaner. Same thing. Service center punts me back to customer service... They had me try to collect logs from charger, but the collect diagnostics button wouldn't get the diags. Finally complained to get me new replacement.... Got it replaced, and now charges 18kw all the way to 80%. Whatever revision or version or newer charger they gave me works. It even has options on menu for V2H for the future which mine did not show.

Interesting! What firmware versions are the new charger running?

This is with Lucid’s own home charger?

The complaints in this thread seem to go beyond that charger to Tesla wall chargers as well.

Correct.. This is with Lucids High Power Home charger. I was too lazy to re-install Tesla's high power wall charger to test it out as the amount of money i paid for Lucid's charger should work. Now it works after 4-5 months between customer service and service center. I'm just glad it's done. :)

I'll look it up later tonight. My old Lucid high power wall charger was able to connect via wifi. But the new one, I cannot connect to my wifi for the life of me. So I have to do a direct connect to the charger via it's own WiFi network.
