Guiness an entertainment company, not a scientific organization. To Lucid it's an advertisement. Neither of these things should ever be taken without a grain of salt. If someone is making purchasing decisions based on the headline of an advertisement in an entertainment magazine, well, I think it's fair to say that's on them.
I just think you're taking this far more seriously than is reasonable.

Here is some data, for whatever it is worth:

According to this data, the average range for these EVs is 232 miles. The top 30 or so EVs (range) are all expensive (high 5-figure $ to 6-figure $ vehicles). Thus, the weighted "center-of-gravity" range of EVs on the road is probably even lower than the 232 miles in this chart, hence the persistent range anxiety.

Keep in mind that EV range anxiety is location-dependent. Californian are spoiled with a robust EV charging infrastructure hence, there is less range anxiety travelling in an EV in CA. I think there is some decent infrastructure along the East Coast as well. Once you get beyond these regions, the EV charging infrastructure is less robust and the anxiety level is much higher.

This is the stuff students should have learned in high school.

I think the aforementioned "record" for the Lucid range is bogus and misleading. It is good for a laugh, that's all!

Just completed a 3,500-mile road trip across the USA to Arkansas and had no range anxiety. It's a thing of the past, only 5 stops each way, less than 40 mins reach time (many under that), I swear people need to try road tripping this car. (also, I only used EA chargers...)

Not clickbait. (I don't have a link) But the things described are real. It does seem like an impossible feat (BUT THE LUCID DID IT!) Relish in the achievement. It's like running a marathon (half marathon pictured), you don't do it every day, but when you do, you can always say you "have done".

That’s great! Last fall I took the GT from Rhode Island to Quebec to Montreal and back home. Fast charged two times and level 2 charged in a parking garage once. Couldn’t have been easier. The charge on the way home at the outlets in Merrimack NH was finished before I was because I got 222kw

. When I get the Gravity and am doing 350-400kw I’m not even gonna have time to use the restroom and get a snack wherever I stop!
