I'll take it! Not ready to download in my car yet, generally takes a week or two before I get the updates. I will report on any improvements I notice at that time.

The drive assist curve handling is very nice. No more slowing down and driving a segmented arch, now a smooth corner. The efficiency improvement is noticeable at 70 mph highway cruising so I think this update is great.

Yeah I'd heard a rumor about the efficiency improvements on the highway. Nice !

I don't have DDP but Bluetooth connectivity might be a boon. Any time I notice the mobile key being sluggish I always check my phone's Bluetooth devices and often see it isn't even connected to the car yet (when it works properly I've seen it connect from wayyyy across a parking lot).

Does the efficiency improvement apply to all years/all trims? (The Air DE is not on the list of affected models, and the P version has a different front motor from the GT.)

And does this mean my iPhone will quit spontaneously disconnecting from the car?

I doubt that the efficiency improvement applies to the DE because of the different power output of the DE front motor. Hopefully, it is applied to it in the future. I suspect this improvement only applies to the pre-2025 models but I have no way of knowing.

I have had very good luck with Carplay connectivity after the update.

The release notes say the efficiency improvement applies to GT, Touring, and Pure AWD models.

Different motor

However, the DE-Range has the same front motor as the GT, but it is not on the list either. That's why I was wondering what componentry is involved in this efficiency improvement.

Could be that Lucid couldn't justify spending software QA resources on this minor improvement for the small number of DE-R cars.

We didn't buy a DE-P to be efficient did we? 🤣
