Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Touring

Interesting. I'm in TX as well and I asked my DA (#2) awhile back to send me final pricing information so I could get my ducks in a row. What he sent me was titled Purchase Agreement Final Pricing Sheet (don't believe this is the actual online PA just the pricing info that would come with it). That Pricing Sheet included the Base Price, along with Sales Tax, Documentation Fee, Out of State Processing Fee, and Registration/Transfer/Titling Fees, minus my $1000 deposit to get a total Amount Due From Buyer. Therefore when I someday am requested to Initiate Payment on my Dashboard I was assuming I would be paying for everything. Have the other TX owners had to pay for other fees, etc. during delivery?
I received my PA today and it shows Texas sales tax. I would expect Arizona to remit the taxes back to Texas, but I don't think that is for me to worry about.

My Touring is at Goose Island and is scheduled to be home delivered to us in Charlotte next week! 😎
PA signed and paid for today.
Its been a long time coming, but we’re excited now. 👌🏻👍🏻👌🏻
Do you suppose to pay as soon as possible or when the car is close for
I just received a call from my DA; My car will leave Chicago on 26th, so I can pick it up on the 27th or 28th. Someone from Short hill, NJ, will confirm the exact date and time.
Congrats. I was told my car will ship to goose island tomorrow. I think there is chance my car will ship from Chicago on the 26th too. It would make sense to combine transportation.

What is the listed sales tax amount? My PA does not include any amount for Sales Tax!!

Soooooo envious over here but extremely happy for you!!

Day 12 and counting with nothing, zero, nada, zilch from Lucid on the status of my build! It's gotta be the fact that I ordered the 21's instead of the default 20's. Nothing else makes sense!

Thank you, and you are right; that makes total sense. We could see each other next week at Short hill.

Thank you, Please call your DA if the DA is not responsive, then contact your SA. I hope you'll get your car by EOY.

Got my VIN assignment today 12/21 after changing my interior from Tahoe to Santa Cruz. My DA says that the only thing left to do before shipping the car to Short Hills is to swap out the 20s for 19s. Honestly, I’m fine with either wheel which is what I told him. All it means is that I might have to buy some winter or all season tires with my rebate money lol. Although really that money is going to paying for my PPF and ceramic coating.

Did you contact your DA? Is it Omar Allen?
He has been responding and he said that my car will leave to Chicago in next 48 hours (this was yesterday). I am working on financing now..

Do you plan to PPF your car? I am thinking about just doing the ceramic coating and skip the PPF. I don’t have any experience with PPF and haven’t done enough research to find the right detailed.

How was delivery experience in Dallas? Can you share highlights? Did you take care of TTL paperwork and fees during delivery or before delivery?
Hi Dallas_LCID. Take a look here for info on delivery etc:

Yes, I am planning to do front PPF for now. I have contacted two companies, one in Mount Laurel and another in Williamstown. They quoted me $1700 and $1800 plus tax.

Just received a call from Ariel. My Touring ZR/T has arrived in Costa Mesa but still on the transport. Her team will start the pre-delivery process, although my Dashboard still shows In Production. Being the holidays and all doesn't help. My car is scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday, December 27. A late Christmas present or an early French (Les Etrennes) New Year's gift.

It depends on the totals of the base price and added options. Mine was $7,178 based on 6.25% tax rate
Ditto, mine came to $7034.38 based on 6.25%. Still confused on what your DA said regarding paying Lucid a total amount include 6.25% sales tax or just the total minus the sales tax which gets collected by TX at registration. Hopefully my DA can keep me straight...

I find a guy local to me in Manalapan. He quoted me $7900 for full body PPF and ceramic coating. I've never done PPF or ceramic coating to any car before but I've also never bought a $100k car either.

It depends on the state where you live. Lucid does not do business officially in Nevada, so Lucid will not charge me sales tax on the sale; instead I have to pay a $15 government fee (basically another document fee) for them to transfer future registration. When I register the Touring in Las Vegas, I will pay the sales tax and registration and licensing fee all at the same time.

I strongly recommend the PPF. I had my entire Jag Ftype done in PPF. Spotless when I sold it after 5 years. I'm getting PPF on the whole car. For a 120k car, I think it's worth it. If car is new, you don't really need ceramic if you are doing PPF in my opinion.
