Possibly, but I (and at least one other here) got upgraded to Dream after the EPA announcement and the commitment to 520 cars, so it's not like they had exactly 20 slots they needed to fill and they filled them all with Saudia Arabian cars.

I wonder if it's more - I think Peter Rawlinson has been quoted as saying “Saudi Arabia is the second-biggest market for Lucid Group in terms of pre-orders.”

I am also one of the "upgraded" Dream Edition cars. There were more than 20 because some original reservation holders decided to cancel their reservations.

6 is not a vin #, should be something like this so the last 8 should tell us how many they have made and the # 5 and 6,7 should tell us if its a DE or GT

lol I’m familiar. There have been at least a half dozen other threads about this. Delivered VINs do not follow any pattern in this case. Don’t waste your time.

Well unless you have a list of all these delivered Vins I can't agree, Vins have to be in the order I sent you , an Mfg. cannot make up his own sequence.
It's a federal standard. That doesn't mean they have to be delivered in any sequence.

Do a search on the forums for VIN. They are not being delivered in any discernible sequence.

Okay here's a real question. Do manufacturers have to produce the VINs in sequence or can they randomly assign a VIN as long as it's within their allotment?

They have to assign them in sequence. But think about, do you think delivery to NY will arrive when delivery to Arizona will. there are many reasons why cars delivered will not make sense as far as Vin#s.
constraints, on components etc.

That's the question you should have asked then. The answer is no.

I'm sure a lot of folks will talk share if they have VIN for GT. We have seen many confirmed to order GT but no VIN assignment yet.

It's clear DE's are still coming off the production line so I wouldn't be expecting to see any GT VIN's until Mid Feb/March at the earliest. At this stage Lucid is a almost a month behind in it's DE delivery target and probably still have a month to go to wrap up the DE's so everything is going to be pushed back as a result.
