A Sad Farewell #2

If you guys are curious, I got mine in quantum grey (well, maybe not quantum)...

Love the personalized plate to match your business persona but the reserved parking spot stenciled on the angle is next level ;)

I have to say, the Crystal Sphere looks fun.

I drove the GV60 with this crystal thing. It was absolutely a gimmick. A neat gimmick, but one that you forget about like ten minutes into using the car.

Sort of like how you can stow the Pilot Panel, which is useful, but I think I have used like twice to access storage and at least two dozen times to show it off. :p

I wonder if they have a bypass for when the sphere gets stuck and fails to rotate completely? You know something like that is bound to happen.

I could have sworn I have seen at least ONE here in the Dallas area. Is there a reason they are not an option?
Genesis currently limits their EVs to a handful of states, Texas is not included. I could go and buy one in the handful of states where they are sold but I'm unsure if the dealers in Tx are trained to work on them. Hopefully next year that will change.

That’s my exact thought! My LR gear shift couldn’t pop out recently and I wasn’t able to get into neutral like I needed to.

That's a good point. I have not had that happen yet, thank goodness. The crystal ball is just a feature. Definitely set and forget kind of thing. But the tech is really well done. Facial recognition to unlock hasn't failed me. Fingerprint authentication to start has worked flawlessly. Voice commands to do so many things and work. Fun car. The range is lacking though.

Are all these features you are talking about also on the Genesis? Or are you talking about the Lucid? If the latter, got to find out where that 'fingerprint' authentication is?

Sorry for the confusion. The features I was talking about was for the Genesis GV60. Not the Lucid.

Who knows, maybe Lucid can work on these other features to refine the experience once they have the kinks worked out on their current ui.

Very sorry to see you go. I'm also following the Lucid Insider and have enjoyed your posts on both forums. Enjoy the new Genesis!
