Okay. And I have a bridge to sell you in Alaska.
I have some LCID stock to sell you 😂😂.
did you get that BK intel from an edited, voiceover Elon Musk you tube video. There are thousands of them out there You should continue watching them.

😂😂 Keep paying attention to that China intel. TSLA 922 today. when everyone else was crying Covid and chip shortage, Musk was leaving communist CA to focus on 24 hour production in Texas. Weird, purported chip shortage didn’t hurt TSLA either. With Musk FU money, he could easily smuggle out enough chips from Taiwan to keep on building.
Has nothing to do with the stock price or”China intel”. Fact is that Tesla closed the factory (as they disclosed) and made no cars, and if it were not closed it would have produced 90,000 cars.

They have also stated multiple times that chip availability has been limiting their production rates.

Twitter, lol.

And please enjoy the rest of your conspiracy-filled night. Cya.

I'm just going to post this here, as a service to myself and my many friends on the forum, since I seem to need it today, certainly.

Don't feed the trolls.

Source?
No need to smuggle anything from Taiwan. They reprogrammed software to use fewer chips per vehicle, but production was still cut due to Shanghai lockdown.

so you have concluded that TSLA was damaged by the “facts” That you cite. I have concluded that Musk brilliantly accepted all of CA tax subsidies for a decade, then repositioned the company to a business friendly, tax free stats (NV & TX) that he can produce around the clock irrespective of other States or Countries shutting down for the flu and he is now more “profitable“ . Hence the stock price (scoreboard)

Numbers not really a shock. We own a small Company that makes airport service equipment, tugs, baggage belt loaders, air stairs, that kind of stuff. They have over 18 months of historical revenue in backlog. We like to produce 10 units/month. We really have the capacity to do 16-20, depending on the mix. Lately, we have been doing 6-8. We are producing much of this for the military. The military is having real issues with shipping (getting trucks). That is just one problem. We have the same kind of parts issues, never knowing which suppliers are going to call us up the day we are expecting something and tell us it is going to be another 60 days. It is causing major issues with production and staff planning. If Lucid is going through the same issues on the type of scale I would expect, I certainly sympathize with them.

I wonder how much of those 7000 additional pre-orders were before the price hike. Would be interesting to see if it’s natural momentum or a result of everyone trying to lock in before the increase

If the reservation numbers are tapering off after the price hike then they’re pumping money into building this massive factory for nothing as they’re nowhere near the 90K+ capacity that factory will bring when that phase is completed.

Most of that extra capacity is for Gravity not Air.

They are not taking Gravity reservations yet. Just creating a mailing list.

After full ramp, Gravity will outsell Air ~3:1

This is a great real world example... I work in IT and regularly purchase tons of hardware that originates in Taiwan, moves to China, and eventually makes it to us in the US. Often the ETA is "None" and deliveries end up taking anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months.

Seeing and living the supply line issues first hand gives me tons of sympathy for Lucid, who themselves are a tiny fish in a big ocean in a difficult industry.

Don't listen to an armchair supply expert.

Twitter retrace was always calculated. Musk knew he was going to expose their fraud and propose a much lower valuation from the onset. Have an idea will ya?
Twitter didn’t accept the value haircut that Musk proposed and now they are left holding their d*** in their hands.

have a good night getting your facts from Buzzfeed

Except Tesla hasn't cut staff in California in greater proportion than Texas or cut production capacity at Fremont.

Tesla, like all automakers, take subsidies wherever they are located.

Tesla gladly takes subsides from the States of Nevada and Texas too.

Agreed. Musk is not dumb. He has negotiated several subsidies and tax breaks. However, none larger than relocating out of CA to avoid massive state income tax. By defacto, that move alone made TSLA 10-12% more profitable on the bottom line. Once he realized TSLA was becoming profitable, he repositioned the HQ nexus to tax free States. The number of people still employed in Fremont CA I’d irrelevant.

Musk loves subsidies. He's not opening up the Supercharger network because he thinks its good for everyone he's opening it purely so he can get some cash from the Infrastructure Bill.

Why are we comparing LCID to TSLA here? Tesla is 5 years ahead of LCID in terms of scale and production.

I'm more interested on everyone's thoughts solely on LCID's execution amidst the supply chain shortages, recalls and other issues. What will 2023 realistically look like? This is a pretty big miss in my opinion given they reaffirmed deliveries of 12k cars for 2022 in May. At this rate, us lowly Pure reservation holders may not get cars until 2024. That said, I'm still not touching the stock as I think they're valued unrealistically. I might take the risk if it were back around $10/share, but unlikely to get there anytime soon.

They revised the numbers from 25K down to 12K knowing the impact COVID had. Now they’ve revised again using the same excuse. There’s more to this than just supply/logistics issues and it comes down to a management issue as well.
I feel they just did not have enough Manufacturing, QC and Supply Chain experience and just had to despac because the market was tanking.
They did everything shady that was still legal to bring this to market.

In order to entice the SPAC holder to agree to merge they put the 25K number.

They were sneaky/smart and got the shareholders of CCIV to agree to authorize I say 15 Billion Shares SO THAT they almost never have to ask to increase them over the next 5-10 Years.

Then came the Awards and it made the Stock spike, the world was still in Euphoria mode.

Dummies like me thought I had me the next Tesla at 30ish.

Rawlinson was rewarded with a 400 MILLION, Yes you heard right. Stock Options Reward for saying all the right things.

Well here we are and this is reality.

Not saying they won’t right the shop BUT for god sake they already have twice the issues shares as TESLA Who have done what 2 Stock Splits already??

The only winners are the PIF and Car Enthusiasts like you guys.

I know they are trying hard with after sales service but they have served themselves a stacked deck.

After tomorrow’s report you may be able to purchase Lucid stock at $10.

He is a very smart businessman but yeah he fumbles every now and then but he has also saved the Government a Bundle by sending thousands of satellites in space for I heard about a tenth of the cost that NASA or the Russians charged.

Here we go...... let hear this drama unfold on the call 😂
