2012 Model S(FE), AGT
I posted my Tesla Model S early-bug-list and I now have time to post this one for Lucid AGT. Several of the items below I haven't seen reported by others. I've retested many of these on 1.2.6 and not seen any fixes.

DateSWversPriorityTypeProblem description
4/21/221.2.11bugTime zone does not correctly automatically set, whether on wifi or on LTE (it keeps choosing EDT instead of CDT). non-automatic gives me EDT when I select CDT.. yikes!
4/21/221.2.11buglane-departure warning also adds steering wheel resistance with no immediate feedback as to why. Very surprising
4/21/221.2.11bugkey detection doesn't happen quickly enough. I can almost touch car before handles appear
4/21/221.2.11bugmobile key isn't recognized (Android Google Pixel6Pro) to open car (even though it is connected), worked 2nd time I tried, usually fails
4/21/221.2.11bugTakes too long for car to be drivable after entering car (software bootup too slow and above mentioned slow key reco) 23 second boot->reverse
4/22/221.2.11physicalwhen non-roll is enabled, the brake engages on stop and the disengage sound is loud and clunky
4/23/221.2.11physicalFM reception is not good compared to Tesla. What was HD on Tesla is not HD and fades in/out in Lucid
4/23/221.2.11physicalPhone charger on passenger doesn't work
4/23/221.2.11bugNo visual feedback anywhere after initiating outbound phone call (via Alexa)
4/23/221.2.11designHaving pause button in the middle of volume control is bad (steering wheel, right side), many mistaken pauses
5/5/20221.2.11bugWindshield wipers default back to "off" every time I restart the car
5/5/20221.2.11bugtime zone reverts to EDT even when set to non-auto (and manually selected CDT)
6/6/20221.2.11bugIf cruise control set to > speed limit, every time a speed limit sign is encounter, you get a message saying there's a "new" speed limit and to adjust. Many times, it was the same as the old limit and should have generated no report
6/6/20221.2.11bugif you forget to reset charge limit down and car charges back to full, then you _can't_ set it back below the current charge. That's especially inconvenient as it forces you to remember this problem at some point in the near future before you charge again.
6/6/20221.2.11bugselecting the Homelink icon after car boots up does _not_ bring up Homelink menu, just activates the general area with the Work/Home nav choices. You are forced to hit Homelink icon again to finally get garage door controls
5/29/20221.2.11bugThere is no way to change audio without multiple taps on far right screen. There needs to be direct access from big screen for short-armed people
5/29/20221.2.11bugHomelink is not accessible until >45sec after door handles present. This is far too long even if I just need to close afterwards (let alone open it)
6/181.2.61bugmobile key (Android Pixel 6 Pro) is not recognized until car boots up and unlock command is sent from phone (up to 60 seconds total)
4/22/221.2.11physical defectthe driver door closes loudly/rattles (even when gently shutting), noticeably different than passenger door
4/23/221.2.12bugsoftware is slow, takes 1000-2000msec to switch to music view after button is hit
4/23/221.2.12bugSteering wheel Volume control is slow to respond. 200-500msec for visual feedback
4/24/221.2.12bugManual trunk latch is hard to use. If you pull up, it almost immediately stops moving (because it senses something pulling?). It is very hard to only push the button without any pull. 90% of my trunk opens jam.
4/24/221.2.12physicalthe steering wheel, right side, volume control is too stiff. This leads to aforementioned false-pauses
5/5/20221.2.12bugradio station next/previous does not limit itself to starred stations, so what good is starring?
4/21/221.2.12design bugcar reverts to smooth on restart
4/21/221.2.12designcar interiors gets warm in the sun (70deg + sunlight)
4/21/221.2.12design bug"traffic cleared" message should be "traffic clearing" message
4/21/221.2.12bugincoming phone call did not enable in-car microphone/speakers, once
4/21/221.2.12featureuse GPS near-home information to open/close Homelink (optionally)
4/23/221.2.12bugDefault audio mix is very deep for phone calls
4/24/221.2.12buguser manual is unfindable on lucidmotors.com website (it exists, but only as hidden link on mobile)
5/5/20221.2.12physicalwindshield wiper motion seems stilted/stiff and not smooth/quiet
5/5/20221.2.12bugwindshield wiper auto mode gets too aggressive in staying on, but also too passive to start going
5/5/20221.2.12bugfar too hard to change radio station. Must swipe down (slow) and then select from starred
5/5/20221.2.12bugdriver attention detection is too aggressive. If I look at front-right dashboard (where warnings appear) while glancing at windshield, it complains
6/6/20221.2.12bugIf cruise control is set, speed limit signs are picked up that shouldn't be: a construction sign warning about a _future_ speed limit reduction (Orange rectangle around white SL sign) will change the speed limit the car believes
6/6/20221.2.12bugAlexa can't handle multiple versions of a contact. If there is any duplication, Alexa reports that it can't decide and doesn't offer choices because they're the same (w/o checking to see if they're dups)
6/6/20221.2.12bugNavigation: turn-by-turn directions of I-435 call it "highway four hundred thirty five" instead of "Interstate" or "I" "four thirty-five"
4/23/221.2.13bug
4/23/221.2.13bug5-8 seconds to load users manual in car
4/21/221.2.13bugdrive-away "traffic cleared" message appeared when car in front had not moved at all (happened once, worked the rest of the time)
4/24/221.2.13bugloading user manual on mobile phone (Pixel 6 Pro, Android, wifi Gbit) took 15 seconds... I thought it was broken
4/21/221.2.13bugvolume control causes dropouts when on FM and bluetooth (?)
4/24/221.2.13bugwhen playing music on Spotify, the default view in the upper right screen doesn't show anything about which song is playing, just a generic spotify logo-set
4/24/221.2.13bugwhen playing music via bluetooth on phone, there is nothing in the upper right screen about what is being played or what controls are available
5/29/20221.2.13physicalthe block (light?) in the upper center of the back windshield is very distracting as it always looks like there is a car behind me...
4/23/221.2.14bugcar in top-down view is not the color of my car, nor is the one in the mobile app
4/23/221.2.14bugJoining wifi, the device identity appears to be the VIN number with no mention of Lucid
6/6/20221.2.14bug(Related) If cruise control is set and there's a construction zone, the car does pick up the CZ speed limit, but if it encounters a un-bagged speed limit sign it reverts to that speed limit. Arguably this is a mistake by the street crew, but the police wouldn't accept that as an answer. It was clearly still in construction zone with one lane blocked with orange cones.

The wiper thing I think is by design. Personally I like it the way it is.

That HomeLink “icon”, along with the other ones on the top row, is just a proxy to bring up the main menu where the real HomeLink button resides. That top row may have just as well said, “Press here to access menu.”

Which? The motion or default to off? Tesla has always had a nice lights/wipers completely automatic process that feels magical.

We have a 2021 Tesla Model S Plaid that replaced our 2015 Model S P90D. The auto wipers in both are/were okay, but they are not without their gremlins. As with our Honda Odyssey, the wipers will sometimes wait too long to swipe and then go into a sustained frenzy of fast swiping in a light rain. And the other day we were driving down the road in the Tesla on a dry day, and the wipers suddenly swiped a dry windshield and smeared bug debris.

The Lucid also exhibits a bit of this behavior, though less so, and the option to set different levels of auto-wipe (which is absent on the other two cars) is helpful.

Great detailed list with several items no one else has reported. There would be an argument over whether items labeled "bug" are really simply a design choice, poorly thought out process, doesn't meet personal preference, an enhancement request, or an actual bug. I define bug as code that does not perform the intended function. A case in point is automatic unlocking due to fob or smart key proximity. What you are experiencing is exactly how I want it. You might want it to unlock when you are 20' away. A user configurable option like ACC follow distance would be ideal. But I understand that since it doesn't operate the way you want, you see it as a bug.

One bug I’d add to the list is the mirror folding button needs to be pressed firmly and dead center for it to work, if you’re off center or don’t touch it just right on the touch screen the mirrors don’t fold. Quite aggravating when you have a narrow garage such as mine which requires mirrors folded if I am to get into the garage. It doesn’t seem to behave like all the other buttons on the pilot panel.

Interesting. I don’t seem to have that problem. The mirror folding button for me is exactly the same as any other touchpoint on the pilot panel and seems to work perfectly fine.

Please email these bugs to [email protected], if you haven't already. Although there are several Lucid employees on this list, it's best to make sure this stuff is logged through the appropriate channels.

The DA told me the buttons on the screens need to be pressed firmly (oh those smudges).

I had an issue a few minutes ago where the Parking button was clearly ON but the phone App showed It was in driving mode and would not let me lock the car. I had to use the key card to lock it.

Boy that frog mouth on the trunk is so narrow, had a hard time putting groceries in. There is no way it takes as much groceries as my LS430. The Frunk did take a roll or large toilet paper they sell at Costco, one each in the bottom and top compartments but that was it.

Definitely NOT a car for Wives to bring groceries home OR ME. The trunk is a back breaker.

I agree about the Music issues but not a deal breaker yet for me.

Trunk/Frunk Opening/Closing via App and without delay are a big issue. Trunk did not lock using the App.

Need to read that manual

Did you open the lower trunk compartment? I can fit an SUV worth of groceries in the car between the lower trunk/frunk and rest of the trunk, not exaggerating.

I've been surprised at how much I can store in just the trunk. I can always get my entire Costco run's worth of stuff in the trunk and lower compartment. I always put a seat down thinking things will not fit, but then I wind up storing everything and putting the seat up.

Well I had this storage tub that would barely fit and once in there was no space left to actually put anything in it and it would not slide all the way back. Had 4 Rolls of Costco Size Toilet Paper. In the Lexus we just throw that in and the Trunk has a giant opening where you Put in stuff from the top. I am only 6foot tall and it hurt my back leaning in. Whoever designed the car has never loaded groceries in their car.

I did not open the bottom of the trunk AND I was lucky I did not have the Full Size spare in the Trunk 😂.

Ha Ha then you have not seen our Costco Runs. We believe in the bulk buying and loading up during sales 🤪. There may have to be some beat up Van or SUV in my future or perhaps Lucid could moon back to 57.

My wife has started noticing these thinks and this was only our 2nd time driving together. The family had voiced concerns about space for larger items but that is more a personal problem but the trunk opening should have been more open at the top.

What is the point of automatic wipers that you have to turn on?? We have three cars with automatic wipers and they all stay on. waiting for rain, until they are turned off. Also, what is the point of two "automatic" settings? If the wipers are "automatic" they should figure out what speed to run at.

I’m with @hydbob on this one. I prefer to control this function and to have degrees of control. There are times that whatever auto mode is selected won’t be exactly to my liking.
