Can we split up the options for car not initiating charging between at home and at an EA charger? I'm more concerned about the former. Failing to start at an EA charger seems to be about inconsistently deployed software at those chargers mostly.

Yea, but I don't think that is a bug on Lucid's side that they can fix.

Agreed, I just want to know separately how many people have hit problems charging at home. The EA problems sound (unfortunately) expected at this point.

Of these I have only had 1, twice... caught with video, and shared with customer care

I JUST had a weird issue where when I got in the car I had an alert triangle on the dash. The regen had completely failed, could only stop the car by using the brakes. The car also had much lower power. When I stomped the accelerator I accelerated like a 100hp car instead of 800hp. Then after about 5 minutes of driving everything worked perfectly. I tried to do a reboot just to hopefully clear out whatever software trouble had caused the issue, and I’m assuming it’s software cuz hardware doesn’t un-fail once it’s broken, but now I can’t do a reboot. My dad is with me, can I not reboot with a passenger in the car?

White noise blasting at ear-splitting volume out of the right rear speaker at 15-20 second intervals.

I was told the car senses when people are in the seats and to do a proper reboot, both really should leave the car.

After my regen failure, I brought the car home, plugged it in for a bit, then decided to do a proper reboot and when I got into the car the front left speaker was buzzing, akin to it having lost its ground connection (anyone who’s heard an improperly grounded speaker will recognize the buzz immediately). When I turned the blinker on the buzz pulsed with the sound of the blinker, but then the car rebooted and everything is now fine. Even though these software failures are concerning, hey the regular brakes worked awesome, and I’m happy we have a reboot sequence that does often seem to fix some problems. Looking forward to 1.2.6 update though as I’d really like to have a nice clean software install since we’re all becoming increasingly familiar with the instability of the software in its current form.

CarPlay and full Dream Drive Pro can wait, just make this OS more stable and glitch free please!

I seriously hope this is the priority. I know people want the fancy bells and whistles, but it sure sounds to me like they need a from-the-ground-up rewrite of some core architecture fist.

It's completely possible they have two different teams working on both at once, but that core stability should be getting most of the resources right now.

Hah! Should've seen 1.0.4...

I couldn’t charge at home with 110V, but I intend to get 220V when I get back home.

Was this after OTA 1.6.2 update?

I didn’t experience all the complaints on this forum; however, 360 degree camera view does not working for me occasionally, maybe 2~3 times in past month, and I have to reboot to get it come back up. I’m not sure this was common and did not see it on @hydbob list.

This was the second episode I've had of this happening. The first time there were four people in the car, and we all had to get out and go inside while the car rebooted. (The poor slob next to that speaker almost lost an ear.)

This second time, I was backing the car out of the garage to wash it when the ear-splitting shrieks started. I tried the "left blinker reboot", but the intermittent bursts continued. I then went inside the house to let the car power down and reboot. When I returned, I heard another blast inside the car before I got within 20 feet of it. I just gave up and started washing the car. After a couple more blasts, the problem stopped.

Cool, the car was just letting you know about all the amber alerts. :p

The 1.2.6 software update I did overnight fixed the problem for me. However I forgot I had to re-log into Alexa after updating, and I’d just taken my dad to the airport and tried to use Alexa to navigate home by hitting the microphone button, and then that wiped out all sound entirely. I had to do a reboot in the airport drop off lane but it worked, luckily! The navigation is MUCH better with the new update and Tidal now sounds like it should. It can’t do Master quality but HiFi is so much better than normal quality so I’m happy. No more “Alex play ….” to get the higher quality audio needed now.
