Isn't America great!!! They just got job, company is still trying to ramp up production and still loosing money, and those bums are staging walk out? any wonder if next lucid plant will be in other country?
They are building one in Saudi Arabia

Get well soon! Sorry you are having a hard time with it.

Not sure where to put this but confirmed order April 11 for AGT, Grey, Tahoe, 21". Received a call from my new DA yesterday (they "regionalized DAs") who said my order was just put into production. "Expect VIN by end of June after it is painted with mid July delivery". I then went to the service center in Scottsdale to check out the facility and happened to see a Zenith Red on the floor. It was an absolutely beautiful paint job and looked so deep that you could put your hand through it. It made me think I may want to change to red.
1. Is that even possible at this point?
2. Would it push my order back?
3. Would not change the Tahoe.
4. I have not see a gray Lucid yet.
Thoughts?

You can call to see if there are any didn’t go thru settlement and you can take their order. I love my Zenith red, it looks gorgeous under sun and very subtle as black at night. This color might be most ordered color.

I have a call with my DA tomorrow....I can ask.

The tracker will be updated tomorrow. Sorry all - caught COVID during my vacation and struggling mightily.
Hey, sorry to hear this! Hope you recover fully, and soon!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. Also, good news! More DAs are coming!

I made a similar change from white to red (for the same reason!) after getting my confirmation at the end of March without any delivery change.

Your car is not ‘in production’ yet if they are not giving a VIN until June. They have it scheduled on a spreadsheet and they call that ‘in production’

I just called my DA and he said I still had time to change and it would not delay my order. Going to the Scottsdale showroom as I was told they currently had a zenith red demo with Tahoe interior.

Well, just got off the phone with my DA and learned some great information, mainly about how to avoid direct questions and continue to be vague and have a 15 minute conversation about nothing. I am at 14 days and still "in production" with absolutely no expectation on when that might change. I asked him about the 4/27-5/3 stoppage and he, at first, acted like there was no such thing so I pressed him a bit and it became something like "not exactly a stoppage" or " depends on what the wording really is". I could tell he was not happy about what information is on this site with respect to that. When we got past that as I just dropped it, knowing no real explanation was going to be offered, I asked about delivery timing. What was, two weeks ago, " your car should deliver in 2-6 weeks, but most of my customers are more in the 3 week timeframe" has now become " I still believe your car has the chance of delivering within the 6 week timeframe". The tone has changed drastically. It has gone from being very optimistic about making the mid range of the estimate to hopeful of making the estimate at all. Looking like July for me since I cannot take delivery the second half of June, even if offered, and they have known that for months, even promising "before the end of May" at one point. Oh well.

On the plus side, he seemed to imply that we might see some news in the not-to-distant future about additional Service Centers.

As for as the production slowing down or not, a week stoppage would definitely impact that perception. I don't think we can really form an opinion though as we do not know just what having cars stacked up in that middle lot, uncovered, really means. I do think they might be grey cars though. It would not surprise me if we have another situation where we have a bunch of cars waiting for parts again.

My DA ended the conversation by promising another update next Thursday, so he obviously doesn't expect any new developments over the next several days. So, if you got your VIN the last part of April or first part of May, do not expect to be on the shorter side of the timeline with respect to "VIN to delivery" timeframe. If it does happen sooner, feel lucky and go play the lottery.

Please let me whether you are able to see a Zenith red at the Scottsdale Studio. I placed a call to the studio to find out but my call was rerouted to corporate — and they said no red at that Studio. Thinking of changing my order from black to red but would like to see the red “in the flesh” before doing so.

I just talked to my DA, and he said my Grey-Tahoe GT was shipped yesterday (May 11) from the Casa Grande factory to the Riviera Beach, Florida service center. He said the car would arrive at the service center in the next 3-4 days, and that subsequent pre-delivery inspection process would be 2-3 weeks. He implied they've really upgraded the depth and thoroughness of the pre-delivery process to catch and correct problems that they've seen multiple times in vehicles.
