Average mi/kwh

Yeah that would be a good comparison however I don't think Swift mode is made for "driving Miss Daisy".
I’m down for July!

Also, are you all turning on ACC? I think that would probably be the best hedge against “some people have more of a lead foot” and speed up, brake, speed up, brake, etc. Also if some folks haven’t fully gotten used to the high regen yet, they might still be using the disc brakes and thus harming regen which would be a factor.

Yes the intent is to use ACC and set the speed to 5 over limit. I also plan to ask everyone to turn off the air conditioning as I don't believe it will be needed at that time of day and location (near the ocean and on Skyline). Lastly slow acceleration and use of high regen for stopping as much as possible. Other suggestions welcome.

Ok so I followed up on hydbob's suggestion and we have a range test comparison drive planned for Sunday morning. Here are the participants and planned route/driving conditions:
Current Participants - bbq AGT 21"; Not Sam DER 19"; GEWC AGT 19"; SaratogaLefty DEP 21". Any other Lucids in the Bay Area more than welcome to join us.
The plan is we meet up at or slightly before 9:00 am on Sunday in Alice's parking lot. I will try be there early with my Eureka Gold Lucid. Once we are all present, we reset Trip A and head out. Preferably everyone will have somewhere around 80% SOC if possible and all cars should have regen on high. I'm thinking we drive at the speed limit plus 5 mph so as not to piss off everybody else (normally I drive this route at much higher speeds but the intent here is to see how ranges compare). I will lead and whenever possible I will use ACC. We will head West from Alice's to La Honda then turn North to 92 East to Skyline South and back to Alice's. Round trip according to Google Maps is right around 50 miles. Most driving will be at 60 mph or less on curvy roads with some hilly portions and slow speeds through Half Moon Bay area. Also hopefully should not need to have air conditioning on. Then when we finish we can compile all the data. Comments/suggestions welcome.
Can I crash your Lucid party with my Rivian?

Sure as long as you are okay riding behind the five Lucids. I’d like to try and keep the Lucids close together in line so we minimize any variances in acceleration.

Todays discrepancy after 31 miles

thanks for doing this. Will be interesting what you find since there is a good amount of elevation gained and lost on that route.

A good test although the results will be too high for my driving (I always have the AC on and like Saratoga Lefty I drive faster than 5 mph over the speed limit). But this test should help give some accuracy to claims instead of the hyperbolic claims often made by folks on all sides.

Then after @SaratogaLefty posts the results, Lucid will get a flood of customer service requests saying their cars aren't performing the way that this test confirms.

Make sure to record ambient temp also!!

Will screen brightness and ambient lifhting have any real impact? Probably not I guess, but might wanna control for that anyways 🤷‍♂️

Umm, I have no idea how to even use ACC. I actually had them skip that part of the walkthrough as I will probably never use it. Can I be the control case? :)

This, to me, looks like you had 1kwh of battery loss. Did you charge and immediately drive?
Yes- I unplugged the charger and reset Trip B at the same time and drove 31 miles. half a mile per KWH difference in calculation between Trip B and Since last charge when they should be exactly the same

I asked customer care about this discrepancy on Monday and they forwarded to their engineering team for a response. Last time they did that I got a non-answer back but I am still hopefule for some kind of response.

Well that raises an interesting point since you are the mileage leader based on history of your posts here and on our Telegram Group Chat. Now you have me wondering if maybe using ACC is actually a negative??? I'm wondering if any other high mileage users here on this forum also have not been using ACC?

Interesting thing happened today. My car was virtually fully charged when I left home this morning. I drove about 14 miles to my club at a sedate 70 mph without aggressive acceleration. When I got to the Club I parked and my mi/kwh indicated 3.0 since last charge. I then played a round of golf and had lunch. I returned to the car roughly six hours later (long lunch and shower) and when I started the car it showed 2.4 mi/kwh. No idea why it dropped so far???

For what it's worth, I *definitely* get better mileage with ACC, but I have a lead foot.

Drain. It happens to me too and reduces overall mi/kwh numbers. It is similar to what I was speculating earlier as to why since last charge and trip numbers could feasibly be different.
