How can these numbers be correct?
But are the trends correct?
I entered my PIN literally this morning after unlocking with the cars, because I was curious. Unlocking with the cars (if it isn’t linked to a profile) pulls up the Guest profile by default. Then, switching to your profile asks you for a PIN. I did the same when I unlocked the car from my mobile app (via the internet). If you look at ‘the fob’ issue ( I bought faraday pouch and box to save battery. But... It is more than the fob. Opening and driving the car has redundant options. Fob, and card are two and known failures. Phone is not activated yet for near field or internet, pin ( can’t enter).
Agreed. This is the only option I would never give up. I love the rest too, but this one would be a dealbreaker. The RWS makes the car handle so much better it’s incomparable. Without it, it’s literally a different car.Don't get tempted into passing on the Dynamic Handling Package to get the car sooner. It's astonishing.
That's my target too. No joy thus far.But do any of them have power package? Like every option except HUD? I’ve not seen that in weeks.
My GGT just left Arizona factory to Seattle yesterday. It is AG with everything except tech package with 22/23 wheels and tow package. Hope I will be receiving next week. For CA, I called this morning and there’s currently one GGT available.
I have a DE on order but hoping to get an orphaned or cancelled one sooner.
I saw the “Fall” note for the Air , but is Air get DD 2 Pro? It doesn’t say that and Gravity does.Passed on the gt given the lack of DDpro. I didn't want to compromise on a technological feature that I think is a mainstay of modern EVs (ADAS). Interesting note- seems like the hardware for DDpro is in shortage as no air is able to be equipped with one either.
Is Mariam still delivery associate at the Lucid studio in the meat packing district in NYC? She was outstanding, she personally delivered my car to my house in Rhode Island.Care to share some names? First hour GT reservation here and my SA is not super worth coming with any sort of info.
Also NYC…if you do get one first maybe we should hang out…
No clue. Mine came out of the Manhasset studio. Brian was my delivery associate. Is Mariam still delivery associate at the Lucid studio in the meat packing district in NYC? She was outstanding, she personally delivered my car to my house in Rhode Island.
Wait so Gravity does have pin to drive if you unlocked it with the card? I thought a bunch of people were saying it didn’t have pin to drive.I entered my PIN literally this morning after unlocking with the cars, because I was curious. So that part isn’t true. My fob and card have both been fine, and the most recent OTA should have fixed it for those who had issues with it.

I could be mistaken, but I think PIN allows a profile switch, not the ability to put the car in drive (without the fob or card).Wait so Gravity does have pin to drive if you unlocked it with the card? I thought a bunch of people were saying it didn’t have pin to drive.
Is it an orphan or your actual order? My GGT just left Arizona factory to Seattle yesterday. It is AG with everything except tech package with 22/23 wheels and tow package. Hope I will be receiving next week.
I’ve always been a fan of a HUD but with the Gravity I don’t think I’d miss it. I was trying to figure out why because in the past no HUD has been a dealbreaker and it was a compromise I had to deal with for the Air. I think with the Gravity, the steering wheel isn’t obstructing the cockpit screen like in other vehicles, so when you’re looking at the HUD you’re also seeing basically the same info on the cockpit screen in your line of sight.I'm still wondering whether I should hold out for the HUD on Gravity. Drove a HUD on a friend's x5 BMW last week, and it was underwhelming. In contrast, the Polestar 3's was pleasant enough.
I personally had the same delimma. Coming from an R1S, I wanted the power package as well. But I was able to get matched with an orphan GGT that had everything I wanted except the power package. I’m waiting on delivery now. But I was able to go to my showroom and see their GGT that also didn’t have the power package. Unlike my SA said, the GGTs without the power package does have ONE 12 volt outlier in the rear area. The old school cigarette lighter plug. After seeing that, I said I’m glad I chose the much sooner delivery versus waiting for the power package.Need some input from friends on the forum…
I’ve been holding out for power package - though we don’t camp and I don’t have a huge need. It’s come in handy a couple of times in our R1S, but won’t get heavy use.
Now, considering inventory cars without power, but every other option I wanted. Should I make the leap? Or hold out?
I am trying to justify by saying I can buy a huge Anker power box with outlets if I really need it. Also, the USB-C ports are fairly powerful. I am never going to hook up a grill or fridge.
Trade off is really delivery timing. I think my GGT as spec’d, is probably not coming until year end at best. Don’t have to get rid of existing cars, but one of them is driving me crazy (no name as I don’t want to focus on that…)
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
There is one in the back. I saw on the local demo vehicle.just get a 12v inverter for when you need power. I THINK you still have the 12V regardless of power package.
there is no pin to drive on the GravityFirst, I am happy to be corrected. I hope pin to drive works. I value the information on this forum. But I am not alone in my confusion. I was and am tolerant of the many foibles of early technology so long as the fundamental mission is reliably accomplished. For Lucid’s and every owner’s sake I hope that is soon established. Then I can enjoy the magnificent drive.
