Gravity PPF Installation

I.... don't hate it? I feel like I really need to see that in person. How much color-shift is there going on?

Did you watch the videos?
Yeah... it looks really blue (in a good way), but I can't tell if you get the green notes back strongly on the sides as you move around. The main comment we've gotten on ours so far is "is it a spaceship?" and that wrap definitely gives me strong spaceship vibes!

@TribbleTrouble named ours “Voyager” for a reason. :)

It still has some green, as it’s technically clear PPF, but the metallic flake is bluish so play tricks on your eyes.

I always buy white cars, just because I have dogs and am worried about the temperature in the cabin. But seeing your photos does make we wonder what kind of sparkle I could get with that film on the white Gravity I hope to someday have in the driveway.

Wow! That looks awesome. I had JUST talked myself into NOT getting PPF as I’ve done it on three prior cars and just didn’t think it was worth it. But man oh man, if it can look like that…You may have just cost me $10,000+…

Be on the lookout for my new GoFundMe link… 🤣

On the topic of the availability of templates for the Gravity; I contacted the detailer that will do the ppf and ceramic coating on my Gravity to provide them with some of the information (pictures, videos, shop names, etc.) gathered from this thread, especially since I should be weeks out from delivery and they have the templates.

I hadn't communicated with them since early June.
They said they were going to do more research. They have.

We used STEK DynoPrism on top of AG. The contrast exists but in a “whoa, cool” kind of way rather than a “ugh” kind of way.

No matter what PPF you get, keep in mind they can cover the important parts with clear PPF.

Our installer used stealth PPF on the stealth parts, clear PPF on the sills and other glossy parts, and dynoprism on the outside.
Would love to see the look of your car with the DynoPrism.

We used colored PPF on our ID Buzz in Orlando. You can pay to have the door panels done but we didn't bother. Frankly, it doesn't bother me to see the original silver when I open the doors. At least not enough to deal with the extra cost. My Gravity was done with stealth PPF like my TRX was. I haven't seen it yet. Picking it up later today and will post pics. Okay, that's cool change!

Ain’t she a beaut
