Gravity Delivery Discussion

Its max on a 500V charger is 225kW and even pulling in with a relatively high SoC it still got near 200kW using the booster. As with all chargers, speed fluctuates but in the 11 mins I was charging an average would’ve been around 135kW
That’s similar to what I recently got on my Rivian at a Tesla SC with 50% SoC. Not being negative, but for context. Gravity definitely will charge faster/more efficiently, but Tesla SCs aren’t all equal etc.

Just got an update on my vehicle. So it's currently in transit to Dallas as we speak and expected to arrive in about an hour. I'm told I can pick it up as soon as tomorrow evening! Exciting!
Wow that is an extremely fast PDI. Everyone is working overtime to beat the end of the month.

Yeah, I think they're trying to deliver as many before the end of the month/quarter as possible as my SA was admittedly swamped. Not sure that the PDI was actually fast as it's been at the Houston service center getting PDI'd for 2 weeks. They are just physically moving it to Dallas. Everything is already completed from the inspection standpoint (short of any additional checks they are going to do to make sure it wasn't damaged in this second transport).

If it takes them two weeks to correct what wasn’t quite right from factory…maybe it’s time to adjust their processes…

Anyway…the GTs are back of the line and hopefully come out decent :/)

GGTs aren’t back of the line at all. Plenty of folks on the forum have a VIN for a GGT in production. Nevertheless, yes, hopefully they refine production as they ramp…

I'm told that 3 are arriving in Natick, MA on Friday. It looks like they are starting to really appear! (Unless this is a Q2 rush and then Q3 will be slow to start, but I don't think so from the reports on this forum so far.)

Hard to tell. The green GDE we ordered on March 31 is being delivered to us next Monday, June 30. The black GDE we ordered over a month earlier on February 26 still isn’t in production and has no VIN assigned. I think they’re still running relatively small batches based on criteria that remain obscure to us here.

I also think their back office is a bit chaotic. We’re scheduled to take delivery Monday. It’s already Thursday and I don’t have an invoice or a payment amount. The SA has been trying to find out where it is. If I don’t get the invoice today the wire transfer might not process in time.

Agree. For you, we know they batched Green first and it appears they’re doing black now (started a while ago), so those colors and options matter.

Also the HUD/tech/power was an issue. My SA said there were quite a few GGTs available now but they had no power package and (of course) no HUD. I don’t need the HUD, but I am used to having the outlets for travel, etc.

I hope they are running black now. Not sure why power is such an issue but it's frustrating. I'm in the same boat at Ron_Burgundy. Can live without HUD pretty easily but no outlets is a deal-breaker for a vehicle I want to use to do some car glamping. Please, please give me a black GGT with power and everything else but HUD?

I saw a black one at Natick last week, and I think the latest drone footage showed several of them parked outside the factory.

I guess though that if I haven't gotten a call already with a pre-VIN or assigned build, then I'm not one of the lucky ones this time around. My patience is starting.... to..... wear............

Call or text or email your SA. Many folks here seem to have success bugging their SAd. Some SAs are proactive, but it appears many are reactive.

I've tried not to be a burden, understanding of his plight, but maybe it is a good idea to be a bit more proactive.

I'm also having trouble getting a breakout of what I'm paying for my AGT which I'm supposed to close on tomorrow. They've given me a monthly payment, and that's it. Honestly I can't figure out how they arrived at that payment amount given the confirmed discounts I have on the car. My SA can't get anything out of LFS either.
