Highway Assist & Traffic Jam Assist

One thing that's always bugged me about the interactive version linked above is that I can't find a "search" function. Is there something I'm missing here? Otherwise, I'm poking around the contents trying to find out about something.

@Firstto520 this is good feedback

I've gotten 3.9, and my almost-wife has gotten >4 as have a few folks in the Bay Area telegram. It's totally doable.
I think I have not seen more than 3.2... may be I like to go fast...;)

Mercedes has had that since 2019, it’s in my car. It’s a mixed bag, sometimes lane change works and sometimes it doesn’t. And according to Lucid when they do implement highway assist (lane centering/steering) if you turn your blinker on to change a lane, the car won’t fight you. About 1/3 of the time the Mercedes does fight it if it perceives a solid white line you’re trying to go across. It’s also 100% useless and almost dangerous in any construction zone. But MB says don’t use it in construction zones so I’ll give them credit.
Yes, my 2018 BMW 530e, when I have adaptive cruise control turned on, does gently fight me when the lines change (e.g., a highway exit). I like having blind spot warnings although I still look and have my mirrors set properly far enough away from the car to see a car coming up on my side but I will change lanes myself. My car does have a lane change warning and I leave that turned on but the first thing I turned off was the lane change assistant.

I can consistently get the yellow Highway Assist bar to come up now while activating ACC when the car has yet to recognize a speed limit sign. Like when the speed sign on the screen is dashed out. It does NOT behave any differently than ACC though. Just a glitch or bug. Interesting nevertheless.

So you get "highway assist" and the sandwich cooler in you car? Not fair to other owners.

Anyone know if is possible to get out of ACC and back to the speedometer? I hit cancel but it just seems to turn it off until I restore the speed, can’t seem to find a way to actualy turn it off, I prefer the speedometer when done driving on a highway.

Hit the left button on the bank of 3 buttons on the bottom left of the steering wheel.

Button/follow distance/cancel button
