It's faster now. My change today had a confirmation email in under 30 minutes.The quickest way is to contact the sales representative who was matched to you upon submission of the original order. Until recently even the sales reps were unable to change an order and had to call HQ, but now they can access the order system themselves and put in the change. It'll still take a day or two before the change shows up in your Lucid account profile, though.
