I can wait patiently.
I'm excited but I can wait.

I'm excited but I can wait.
It’s just a car, a month or two delay is nothing as long as they get it right…..remember, if Gravity has the same issues they had with the initial Air quality and software, they are toast. Would you rather they release defective vehicles or spend a month or two rectifying the issues? It’s not like they are delaying cancer treatment.
The game's afoot!!!!
Lucid just sent out this press release!
You are viewing the world from a near “insider’s” view. 99.999% of the people on the planet do not know who Kyle Conner is, have never heard of this Forum and do not even know what a Lucid is. None of them care about the 9 cars from December, the Dream Edition and so on.Honestly, though . . . just how many times can Lucid "introduce" the Gravity?
This press release actually raises more questions than it answers. Other than "officially" announcing the charge rates that were revealed over a week ago in the Conner and Moloughney videos, there is no new information in this press release. What of the early orders that the configurator showed as 2025 models? What of the Dream Editions? When will cars be available at studios to see or test drive?
To me, this just seems to be another round of vacuous marketing ballyhoo rehashing already available information.
. . . press coverage with reviews later this week . . . .

2025 Lucid Gravity's Brilliance Makes Other Cars Seem Pointless - Jalopnik
This three-row electric SUV is even better than advertised, and it leaves you wondering why other cars can't be like it.www.jalopnik.com
I have FSD. It was "only" $6k when I bought the vehicle.Did you have FSD or just AP? You said you didn't let it drive in city traffic so I would expect that meant that you hadn't opted for FSD?
[..]
So, as long as Gravity performs at least as well as the FSD version of Tesla highway autopilot I'll be happy.
Basically, until about 3 months ago I shared your "how will I live without Tesla AP on the highway", but after that it was more "this isn't fun any more and I hope that anybody's highway ADAS is better than this".
Interesting the reviews are being done on the 21/22's, I still think they have production constraint on the big wheels and tires....I was able to find 3 new pieces of information in the press release:
- The standard single chamber air suspension is adjustable. I was under the impression that only the upgraded three-chamber air suspension will be adjustable. “Standard adjustable air suspension delivers a smooth, comfortable ride for passengers on any road”
- Brakes are co-developed with Brembo. “Large new front and rear brake calipers co-developed with Brembo ensure confident stopping power.”
- Gravity Touring is “planned” for later in 2025, which is a slight change from the previous narrative of “available to order in late 2025”. I’m hoping the Touring will be available for deliveries earlier than originally planned, based on opening up orders for the Touring in Saudi already. “The Lucid Gravity Touring is priced from $79,900 and is planned for later in 2025.”

There's a ton of grip from the optional 21-inch front and 22-inch rear tires — yes, the Gravity has staggered-size front and rear wheels, how cool is that? (There's also an available 22-inch front and 23-inch rear setup, or 20s in front and 21s in the rear.) Body roll???
All the videos I've seen this morning are on the 22/23" wheels, as were the other Gravities you could see in the background shots.
Unfortunately the highway performance of the last couple of months on my Tesla (actually I sold it about a month ago, so during the period of 1-3 months ago), was absolutely not "don't have to pay attention". It was deeply concerning about 3 months ago and at best it got to the level of "constantly being ready for a mistake" by the time I sold it in late March. But, the performance it had in early December before the "FSD everywhere" update was absolutely trust-worthy.I just want highway performance where I don't have to deeply concentrate on a cross-country drive. We've done MA<->FL non-stop twice in the X, and that would have been impossible without the ADAS capabilities.
Multiple reviews mention the fit and finish. It blows my mind that Lucid would even hand off vehicles with fit and finish issues for media testing"Unfortunately, no car is perfect, and neither is the Gravity. My test car and a few others at the first drive event had some fit, finish and tech issues. One of the most egregious was on my production-unit test car a nearly three-quarter-inch misalignment between the door card and dashboard. Other trim pieces weren't totally fitted properly, and there were some tech issues too. The massaging seats — which were great when operational — would turn on and off at random intervals, and at one point my reverse camera decided it was done for the day. I spoke with a Lucid representative who assured me that these were teething issues on very early production models, and they would be fixed before actually getting to customers. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now, but we shall see.

I would strongly recommend focusing on the 99% of the review, and not the 1%, but that’s up to you.Multiple reviews mention the fit and finish. It blows my mind that Lucid would even hand off vehicles with fit and finish issues for media testing
If anyone thinks a company manufacturing cars for 3 years is going to knock it out the park on fit and finish then they're delusional. Legacy OEMS have had decades to master getting vehicle build consistency off the line and producing millions of cars to get it right. Lucid has built 20K cars at best so cut them some slack. Not saying what they deliver is horrible but to expect perfection off every vehicle this early into the game is unrealistic.Multiple reviews mention the fit and finish. I'm not saying they all have to be absolutely perfect, but at least double check the ones you're handing out to the media for reviews. If anyone thinks a company manufacturing cars for 3 years is going to knock it out the park on fit and finish then they're delusional.
