Anyone else doing high mileage on their Air?

I was an early-adopter of plasma tv. The big thing was burn-in. How many hours before it happened?

Never happened.

Problem with EVs is burn-out...how many hours before the battery needs replacement?

I can wait ....

Somewhat related - Our July 2018-build Model X has 113,000 miles on it. So far we’ve experienced 9% battery degradation. Almost seven years in, we’re seeing the rate of degradation slow dramatically.

I’m still looking forward to ordering my Gravity and dumping our Model X, and its free unlimited supercharging:

The nice thing about electric motors is they either work or don't. It totally makes business sense that Peter's vision is focused on marketing the power-train.

I expect this car's battery will way way outlast me.

The EV technology = electric motors seem to be approaching best efficiency, but battery technology is still "learning".

If I"m still a competent driver in 15 or 20 years I may consider upgrading my "old" battery to whatever the new battery chemistry is.

It's not absurd to expect every EV going forward to have the performance capability of the Sapphire.

I realize that some of you were skeptical of some of my questions and concerns about the Air due to my intended use. And some are probably sick of me mentioning how much I drive lol. But just to verify, I got the car 5 weeks ago and 9 days of that, it was in the shop. 2500 miles later with another 300 before I get home tomorrow, here I am charging again lol.

Is anyone else putting this kind of mileage on their car? If so, what have you learned during all your windshield time? View attachment 11329

And you drove them all at 1mph?! I’d have died! :p
Observant, that you are :)

I'm a speed demon, hardly exceeding 35mph. I still don't understand people extending middle finger while passing (such an American thing).
Uber gave me a Gold Medal.

I do much better in my Sapphire on Mexican highways :)

How is your battery degrading?
everything degrades with age (except me).
But jokes aside, last September, I asked Lucid team to assess it. It was 3% from 100.
Not bad.

With that mileage I’ll give you $5.99 for the car. Deal? 🤣
Lol, because of you, it's a deal.
I'm suspecting I'll drive the car till it's end. Or mine.
Lets' see what breaks down first :)

And my charge limit is @ 90% all the time, occasionally !00% when I have to visit my son @ UVA,
Again, it tells the story how well Lucid is designed.
