oof, same config here except that I only ordered it a couple weeks ago. Did you hear from your DA?
Have they been able to give you any information yet?

Grey and Silver are pretty much non-existent right now. My SA said Grey and Red were the most popular colors at their location.
I reached out to my DA 4 weeks ago. I asked if the then-rumored "grey delay" affected my order. He admitted there was some delay. He'd also checked with the production team, and came back saying they were already sourcing the car, and a color change wouldn't speed things up. Said he expected the VIN assignment to happen in the second half of April. No communication since.
It looks like the first grey VINs are popping up now.

I’d guess at least a week before they get to PDI. Millbrae is slammed and the team there is doing their damnedest to get through all the cars, but there’s a lot of them and more arriving daily. That’s what we get for picking up at the best (and busiest) of all the centers! :D
Yea, doesn’t matter to me! Just wanted to send out the info. They have a slight chance of meeting my 4 month delivery window of May 5th!

Totally get you. I'm past my window now by a few days but would rather it be right than rushed, same as you :)

What’s the matter? Don’t you want the exclusive Irvine
interior with the San Diego doors?😊

It looks a lot less full than last picture? It is sort of good to see these pictures. The parking lot though is just a buffer between completion and shipping. If shipping was faster, the lot would be a lot emptier, but if this lot went empty, I would imagine another product delay.

Car shipping has been a huge mess this last year. With increased diesel prices and a shortage of drivers the industry has been in chaos.

But I've been told shipping delays are artificial and Lucid just can't do the right thing when it comes to logistics (via Reddit).

Didnt mention but there are electronic ATSs that are so fast that when the utility voltage begins to sag theyll transfer immidiatly and seemlessly without your loads drpping out. Transfer from utility to car battery power and the other way around will both be seemless. These cost quite a bit more. I dont know if the lucid $1000 box can do this -- 1000 sounds too little. For having only some loads on ats you need to add a panel next to your existing and move over the circuits you want on ats.

I guess I may be stuck between a rock and a hard place. We are planning a house remodel and adding an induction range. We need a new Circuit panel so this is opportunity to put in circuit for Lucid AGT and other electrical items. Knowing that only a few loads can go in the sub-panel for the car to cover knowing how the car will send power to panel when there's an outage would be nice.
Was supposed to get my GT delivered tomorrow but they pushed it back to Friday due to issues with the courier (I’m guessing it’s the truck driver shortage which is affecting all things). I have to work Friday so the DA is going to leave the car in my driveway then when I get home she’ll give me the full walkthrough. I gotta say I’m pretty impressed they’re willing to take what will likely be 2 hours of time at 5pm on a Friday to make sure I’m set up and happy with the car, especially since my DA lives in NYC and Providence is a 3 hour drive( or maybe Lucid is getting her a hotel, not sure).

I need to get my ticket on an airline with no change fees, if that exists. A sudden delay would make my plans harder.

Let's hope they have caught up by end of May.

My DA sent me an email today. Re-iterated the “by the end of the month” line. With your comments, it is making me less skeptical that they will miss it again. If they are telling you 2nd week of May, then hopefully mine will be within 10 days after that. It’s a win-win for both Lucid and me to meet that date. I would have my car before a cross country trip and Lucid won’t have to store it at the studio for a month and wait for their money.

Wait, what? I was told max time held in studio is a week?

I actually went ahead and did the trip, PSTom. Once I was confident I'd have enough juice to make it into LA, it was pretty simple. The biggest problem was all the bugs I had to scrape off the car when I got back.

I've always used quick ammonia soak followed by power wash.

hard to really know what left the lot and what entered it...

Yes. Red and Grey are the most popular colors, each with about 35%. The other colors combined make up the other 30%

Got my VIN today too! Gray/Mojave 19". Reserved 12/2019.

Oddly, I didn't even get a call, just an email. I also got a Financing email and Wiring Instructions email at the same time. They reference a purchase agreement, but I haven't seen one at all... @Neurio did you get a purchase agreement right away or either of the finance/wire emails?

For those curious, the plan is to pick it up from the Chicago location.
