OTA Update 2.6.0

Is this consistently happening to you? I remember this occurring to me a long while back and I believe a hard restart fixed it. Haven't experienced the issue since. Also, this may suck but maybe a factory reset could help?
[In reference to soft-close door malfunctions]

Yep. Worked perfectly until I got in my car and checked things out after 2.3.10 finished installing back in August. Ever since then, soft-close works normally about 50% of the time on Doors 2, 3, 4. The driver's door is worse, and has a quirk where I have to close it extremely gently to the first "click" for it to actuate; if I sling the door shut in normal fashion and without that technique, it will fail to soft-close 100% of the time. So when I get out at home or in a parking lot, my options are to slam it (harder than a non-soft-close door would require) or to stick my fingers in the gap and use my thumb to give the door a slow, controlled push to the first click. Another method that doesn't work as well is to set the door to a position before the first click, and gently tap the door with a knuckle until it hits that click. All of this sounds silly, but if it closes with anything resembling normal force, it won't shut/seal.

Remote Service looked at it a week after the update, said the hardware looked normal and the update likely broke it for the time being. Riviera Beach Service Center looked at it in October and the invoice says they adjusted the latch by 1mm and all was normal. Obviously it wasn't, but I just wanted my car back after it was down there for a month. The place is 180 miles away and I'd be a fool to send it back in for an issue that I've been told was caused by a software glitch.

The sound is crisp again without the high end distortion. It's between the old and the new. Perfect!
This is exactly what I was hoping for! High end distortion in 2.5.0 is very distracting

I wish I didn't have to go on X to read the details of the update.
Better than what they used to do, which was communicate nothing. Baby steps but good ones at least :)

If this fixes my ambient lighting I'll be happy, anything else is gravy. I'd be really surprised if it improves the sound system beyond fixing the distortion and popping.

Exactly the same as me. After tweaking the drivers door and it still happening Lucid confirmed it was a SW issue. @mcr16 has also confirmed it’s a SW issue they’re investigating.

Is there anyone with the soft door close issue who has installed 2.6?

“The performance of the surround view cameras has been improved”

Anybody know if this means they appear quicker or that the frame rate for those cameras is higher or something else ?

It means that the bug causing camera fails when curb rash assist is turned on has been fixed.

Prior to the update, I would only see the soft close fail once or twice a week. It has not failed since the update but I think that it is too soon to tell for sure if this was fixed.

I'm installing the update now! I got it unusually quickly. I'll report back on software doors, cameras and my take on ATMOS improvements.

Same! I'm excited to experience the improvements. Great timing since I'm about to take a longer trip to play with it all.

I'm jealous of you all! I had nothing but problems with the "new" audio in my car. So I'm dying to see how this new update changes things.

Also installing now. Feels like the earliest I’ve gotten an update after announcement in a while. Looking forward to the drive home from work this evening!

I'd expect that Lucid was pretty keen on pushing out a fix for the surround-view cam bug.

Hi All, how long is a typical wait from OTA update announcement until it reaches an average customer?

1 to 3 weeks is typical for me.

Also, not everyone gets all of them.

With 2.5.0, many people here got that, but many people didn't. I didn't get it at all until I got 2.5.3 later on.
