Drive assist & cruise refuse to engage periodically 2.6.0 / 2.6.11

I had the same experience after accelerating beyond the speed limit and overriding Drive Assist. I was passing a slow moving group and wanted to do so quickly. I do not recall the speed at which it disengaged but as we know the speed comes on very fast with all the torque. Next time I feel the need for speed on the highway I will disengage Drive Assist.
That’s a good work around but let’s hope Lucid hears us and comes up with a more permanent solution quickly.

It's not like Lucid doesn't know about this bug, and many others. IMO they don't have the resources to fix the Air bugs, everything is focused on Gravity which will make or break the company. The Air is left ... in the air at the moment. What's worse is the lack of communication which makes an unreasonable whinny snowflake like me feel, well, abandoned :)
They literally released a bugfix OTA 18 days ago. Just because it wasn’t the bug you cared about doesn’t mean they aren’t working on the Air. :)

Doesn't Tesla's ACC work like that? If you exceed the set speed by too much, the ACC disengages until you stop and turn off the car.

Older versions of Lucid does not work like the way Tesla does. It's cooperative autosteer and autocruise: you can override the steering and the speed but when you let go of the manual maneuvers, Lucid ADAS would automatically regain autosteer and autocuise back seamlessly without any complaints.

I think it always has? I remember reading in the manual when I got my car 2 years ago that ADAS disengages above 90mph
If it was below 90, then I don't think that's an intentional disengage you're seeing, it's the new ADAS getting confused about something and giving up

Happened again today. Unplugged car from lucid home charger and it had been in the garage for about 5 hours so was in full sleep, drove 5 minutes to the expressway, pushed steering wheel button to turn on active cruise or drive assist but no joy. bonk bonk bonk on the button. Can't wait till they fix this.

I've had 3 instances since 2.6.0 where Drive Assist and Adaptive cruise refuse to engage. Most recently I was on a highway trip and was using Drive assist which I turned off with a button press on the steering wheel because of road construction. When I went to re-engage with a button press the adaptive cruise imagery appeared on the main screen but I was unable to engage by pressing the button on the left toggle switch. I only got a "boink" sound when pressing the button. Long press on the drive assist button on the steering wheel did nothing. Turn signal cameras were fully functional. Proceeded to drive about 20 miles manually then exited to charge at EA. As the car didnt go into a deep sleep the problem persisted after charging. I exited the interstate and did a logo reset but that did not correct the problem. I drove on another 200 miles with those features unavailable. The features worked after a deep sleep. Called Lucid and reported. They said they are aware , working on it , and appreciated the call as it adds another data point.
Thanks for sharing. There’s a fix for the issue you describe here planned in an upcoming over-the-air release.

I remember multiple times that Lucid ADAS did disengage itself when I stepped on the pedal to drive above 90mph but with no alarms, no complaints and the Lucid ADAS regained itself back when I let off the pedal and let the car went back down to 90mph.
