You don’t get the brown stitching on your he dash or the front seats that further ties the interior together with the Tahoe but if you wanted you could get plush matching brown floor mats from any number of after market companies ( ask for swatches first) that would tie the lower doors to the floor which would make a very handsome and unique one of one interior. I think I would keep it! BTW since Lucid is so new to the market place not every mat maker will have Lucid templates for carpets but many companies will let you send a traced template on brown body shop( butcher paper) to give you an exact fit

Whoa. I had only looked at front door panel differential online. Didn’t open the back doors! I probably have 15 people waiting to see the car live. I wonder how many will ask what’s up with this color scheme

I'm trying to comprehend how no one noticed. Quality checks? This is really really not a good sign.

Strange the mistake was made, sorry for that. I do think the two toned front to rear can add to this mistake. I originally wanted a factory tour. Would be interesting to see how supplies are delivered to installer.

Received VIN on 3.30.22. Told the car was out of production 4.6.22. EST 2-3 weeks to be delivered from a stop at Riviera Beach to Orlando. White GT, Santa Monica, 21”.
When did you confirm your order?

Received an email with my Purchase Agreement for my signature using DocuSign. It is 24 pages of legalize. Interesting that Lucid has you sign a Tire Chain Disclosure that the Lucid may not be operatred with tire chains. You can only use Tire Socks. At the same time I received an email inviting me to pay. Now I have to wait to see when the car will arrive.
Talked to my DA last night and was informed that my car is delayed due to some parts are back order as some of the parts received were not up to spec and thus rejected by Lucid QC. They expect the car to be finished by the end of April.

more than 100 cars available outside the factory. Seems the bottleneck is the local SC's.

Or the availability (or lack) of transport….

Before I placed my order I asked if they were going to have factory pick up...
yea no, is there any manufacturer in the US where you can pickup at factory?

To be fair, most OEM have dealerships. How many cars are direct to consumer (Tesla)?
True, so Rivian and Tesla don't allow pickup at factory then either right? Maybe it's a US legal thing because you can do it in Europe...

There were 8 covered GTs inside the Scottsdale Service Center yesterday. They said they had more in the back, but they didn't say how many.

You may be right. I picked up a BMW 540i 6-speed at the BMW factory in Germany almost 20 years ago.

feels like this week has been very quiet with no new VIN assignments.
